Well another month has flown by! Not long until Christmas :xmassmile

This month i have decided to back away from MSE - it was beginning to become all consuming and quite addictive. I'm still continuing my frugal ways and good habits and will carry on this diary but I dont think i'll be popping on every day which is the habit i was in. By visiting so often i was overthinking my debts, constantly reminding myself and becoming i bit negative i thought. As much i've abandoned the NSK challenges, but am extremely grateful for the path they helped to set me on - thanks Kat!

    So scores on the doors:

    Loan: £1500 - 70% paid
    Car: £3950 - 21% paid

    Virtual Piggy Bank: £21.09

Btw - my holiday was AMAZING, underbudget and very sunny, what more could a girl want

Woohoo some of my christmas presents have arrived! :xmassmile

As a result the virtual piggy bank is down to £4.97. Still it's nice to know the money was saved up especially for this purpose so i dont feel guilty.

I ordered from B00ts to get the £10 worth of points if you spend £50. I only spent £21 but i convinced OH to order some of his presents too netting me the points :D

Boo i've failed the 2013 clothes challenge :( i'm currently at £150/£120. Still, i'm taking the positives - this is substantially less than last year and the target was very ambitious. I didn't include any ebay earnings from old clothes/bags etc either which would have brought my total down. I promise to do better next year.

Things are quite quiet for me atm, i'm just waiting for paydays to swing around so we can get rid of our loan before Christmas - i can't wait to be able to strike this off my goals/to do list :)

Bleurgh, i failed my weekly spending challange last week, spending £16.25/£10. Mainly due to buying lunch at work, no more!

This week i've made £20 on e3ay so keeping my usual tenner a week i'm aiming to make £10 overall this week.

On the plus side i've paid another £150 to the joint loan meaning the total debt is now sitting at 49% paid - soooo close to half way! Bring on next week when i can hit that milestone!

    Loan: £1350 - 73% paid
    Car: £3750 - 25% paid (woohoo a quarter gone!)

Virtual Piggy Bank: £6.24 (some presents bought)

I'm an auntie! My SIL and BIL have the most gorgeous little pumpkin and i cant wait to have a cuddle! (See what i did there as she was born last night?)

In DFW/1st of the month news the joint loan payment came out and i've transfered across some extra as an OP. I'm hoping to make weekly OPs and fingers crossed the joint loan is still on track to be gone by christmas.

    Loan: £1050 - 79% paid
    Car: £3750 - 25% paid

    Virtual Piggy Bank: £10.90

I attended my 1st diet weigh in class thing last week and am due to go again on Tuesday, hopefully the diet will work as its not very MSE at all! (Although probably not that expensive when you consider having to buy larger clothes, the food shop decrease and the odd takeaway).

    ETA: I almost forgot...

My total debt repayment now stands at £5200/£10,000 - 52% paid

  • I've just read your diary, well done on the debt busting you must be really proud of how far you've come so far.

You sound so organised I bet your df day will come sooner than you think, keep it going.

Thank you Chrysalis! Once the loan is gone, psychologically i'm sure i'll feel my DF day is closer, if that makes sense - only about 8 weeks to go :)

Today was my first weigh in at Fat Club:

    Week 1: -3lbs

Woo hoo! :D only another 47 to go to reach my dream weight!
