What a match! Brilliant!
I have been calculating i need approx £120 for my holiday spends in September. I plan to get this through £co and e8ay, along with resurrecting my round-down account. I already have a bit in there to get me started so:
Holiday Spends: £8.77/£120 7%
ETA: ideally i'd like to take €150 away with me which is actually working out to be £132 not £120 so need to smash my target! I also need to pay for airport parking aswell, argh!:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Bonsoir mon journal,
Today i joined the gym! I'm tired of being a fatty bum bum. I had originally intended on going to s1imming wor1d weekly but after 1 week of doing the food diary and trying to keep to the free foods and healthy options listed i realised my issue isn't the food - i just dont exercise enough. Plus i'm not a big bread/cheese fan so having to eat some for the sake of it doesnt really make sense to me (ok you can have nuts etc in this "option" but that would mean buying extra foods in). So i made the decision to spend my £25 a month on the local council gym rather than SW - i couldnt afford/justify spending on both and it was an easy decision really. Induction tomorrow, followed by a hips, bums n tums class and Zumba on Weds!
:j
I have a weight loss target of 56 lbs to bring me to my desired weight- seeing it written down is so scary
Also update on Holiday Spends: £14.76/£150 (9.8%) -total changed to include parking:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Well done on taking the bull by the horns, and getting the debt paid.
I was wondering what the baby fund was actually for. Ie is it to pay for things for the baby, or is it to cover your wages whilst you are on maternity leave? (On that note make sure that you have been at your current work long enough to get enhance maternity pay. Would be worth looking at your HR information to see what the criteria are and how long you will get the extra for).
If it is for the former, then remember it is NOT the baby that wants everything new but the parents. Baby doesn't care what it sleeps in or wears, as long as it is warm, fed and loved.
This being the case, when you start to 'try' ahem:o in earnest, then is the time to start looking on freecycle, freegle for free stuff like cots, baby baths etc. Alot of people can't be bothered to list this stuff on ebay so it is a good way to get set up cheaply. Also people will WANT to give you stuff for the baby, eg pushchair etc, and friends and relatives may well have loads of baby clothes to hand along to yours.
I was lucky to have two friends have boys before I had mine. I virtually didn't have to buy him clothes for 18 months I had so much given to me!
The only things I would buy new is the cot mattress, and the car seat. Everything else is fair game.....
good luck with your debt busting
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hello Chevalier!
The baby fund £4k is split in my head as £1k baby stuff, £3k to supplement my maternity. Once the debt is paid, OHs wage will cover all of the household bills and food so maternity pay should work out ok, however i want the safety net. We're going to start ttc next April (my DFD) so i'll be ok it relation to pay qualifying periods.
How cute is your rabbit pic! i have a cheeky house rabbit myself:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:
