Ohh i had a beautiful Silver cross twin pram many years ago. It rolled along with no pushing, also fitted in my 2 year old son and a weeks worth of shopping.0

Kayalana, I've been double pram window shhopping today!
The Mamas and Papas one I posted the link too was simply way too long in real life
I have two new favourites now - Baby Jogger City Select and iCandy Pear Blossom. I like the fact that both can have a proper carrycot for a newborn and also that they are one sit in front of the other (in the Jogger they can forward or backward face). I really don't like the ones which have one baby under the other although I know some people love them.MFW!

I have twins and bought the baby jogger city mini. When they were newborns I used the carrycots and then sold them on eBay after about 6 months. The pram is fab, so easy to steer, folds without any drama and fits in my boot no problem. I bought mine brand new in 2011 for £310 and the carrycots were £120 each. I resold the carrycots for £135 for the two though.
I love this pram and can't recommend it highly enough. I tested so many different ones including i candy etc but this was by far the best for us.0 -
Can anyone recommend a side by side double, where you can have one toddler seat and a carry cot? Then replace the carrycot with a toddler seat when bubs is big enough.0

Hi,
Theres 18mth between mine and I bought a 'Jane' duo from Ebay and it is fantastic...cost me the grand total of £50 too. Its a tandem with a chunky frame and wheels, massive baskets, so so easy to push, has removable hoods and even came with a cot for baby that can be put on instead of one of seats. It is also like new. It is chunky but fits in my estate boot but it is also built to last, so many doubles around that are so flimsy, especially the side by side.
Years ago I had a silvercross tandem buggy (the chrome chassis type) and they too were fab. I have also got a coachbuilt pram with toddler seat to use on walks as I love them....but then again I restore them so have about ten to choose from lol.
Personally I wouldn't reccomend the side by side doubles (especially with carrytots) they are totally impractical and most people I know who have had them only used them once or twice because they were too cumbersome to get through doorways etc.0 -

Could you sell the buzz or have a look on eBay/gum tree etc, someone may be selling it 2nd hand
they are ££££
The baby jogger city select isn't side by side it's tandem but you can have a carrycot and a seat facing out, both seats facing each other, car seat and pushchair etc, some of the ICandys do that too but again not cheapdo tend to be lots of them pre loved though
