    Morning All

Got a memory like a sieve this morning so I just send out a general group (((hug)).

I had a slightly disturbed night with dd but nothing to worry about really, at least shes home safe in her bed after whats happened in Portugal it puts things into perspective.

Plans for the day are going into Southport to buy presents for my friend whos had girl twins. Quick question if you were buying for twins would you buy the same outfits or different. I'm going for a cuddle tomorrow they will be a week old one was 5.5lb and the other 6.1lb so tiny dots really cant wait to see them.

After that I need to go to Aldi on the way home to get bits. Then its on with more gardening jobs which will be much easier with DH at home so we can take it in turns keeping DD amused.

Off for some tea and toast now

    Have a good day everyone

Good morning everyone here and to follow :j

Slept like a log last night and feel much better this morning, still a bit dizzy but not as bad as yesterday and my teeth don't hurt at the moment!:T Goin to see what the pharmasist says later and hopefully get something to ease the symptoms until I get to see the doc. (Although I must say I got better diagnosis and treatment advice off you guys yesterday that I did off the doctor!)

Have decided for once not to give myself a 'to do' list and just do whatever I feel like today - I feel some baking coming on! Have hardly seen OH this week, only time we've spent together is when we've been asleep! So I'm planning us a nice romantic night in and as luck would have it, my food magazine this month has a couple of great recipes using things I've already got in the freezer so I can make a nice meal for us without spendnig a fortune on ingredients. We're having sticky marmalade duck (with two duck breast I was given by a friend who has ducks, so they should be lovely), with salad from the garden and sauteed potatoes - mmmmm:D

Mioliere - you poor thing! My OH has a habit of pushing me out of bed too. He once smacked me across the bridge of the nose in his sleep! Talking of strange things OH's do when asleep, that reminds me of something when we were first together. We'd been together nearly a month and I stayed the weekend with him at Uni. He woke up in the middle of the night and disturbed me as he rolled over. He saw that someone was in his bed (momentarily forgetting I was there at all) and leapt up shouting "what the f***!! " Well I've never been so flattered!! :rotfl: :rotfl: When I remind him of it he says I should be pleased he wasn't used to waking up with women in his bed :D I suppose he has a point!

After all the sad news on the thread yesterday (((hugs))) to anyone that needs them.

Morning all - lovely lie in this morning - bliss - for about 10 minutes and then I always feel restless and have to get up

Came down to find dd sitting here watching grease - again! Plans today are to finish my flylady list which should take about an hour, tidy the garden a bit and then see if dd wants to go to a dr who book signing in town. I need to phone them first as it looks like you had to preorder the books and it will take at least an hour and a half to get there

Jet77 - I know what you mean about feeling lost when you run out of things to do - it really throws me and then I start looking for stuff
Catznine - I can't beleive it's already the day before the day - bet it went slowly for you - have a wonderful time. When I go to my dsis's in Canada I take a small empty suitcase for sewing supplies - it's waaaay cheaper over there

make the most of the rest of the sunshine and have a good day y'all

    Good Morning All
Charlie's mum - congrats on your news becoming a first time grandma in August, I hope things go well!
(((hugs))) to anniestar & DH, I do hope this depression will pass. Easier said I no, especially when Ive been there 4 times allready!
lil-me - I do hope the caretaker sorted out the fuel spillage. You did the right thing by reporting it, not sure how many other would have done the same. No meaning it against us OS. Brilliant about DS results. :j well done!
Moiliere - £163 - thats expensive. If you know what to do, then save money and help him next time! They know we need the work doing and I feel like they charge what ever they like.
(((hugs))) mrs mix - you cant win can you, if you would have rushed DD up the dr's in the first place, you would have been accused of over reacting, but now you get in trouble for leaving it!
csarina - all that ruddy stress they caused you ref your payments. It makes my blood boil that they blame the computers for the information and not the person who inputted it. I hope you get this head ache sorted out!
Well done catowen on your win!

Sorry I didnt get the chance to come back on again last night. I had a hell of an afternoon on Friday with my ex. I offered to take him to birmingham to see his dad, drop him off (me nip in and kiss him goodbye - FIL not my ex!) then come home. But No! Because of what I said last wk end (the one I regretted) he told him family! Plus, they only want immediate family there. Well anyway, Friday he fetches the kids from school. I had to go out. And where I went I couldnt get home for him to bring the kids back. He only rung my dad, did his usual !!!!!! stirring, he said that I had said NO to having the kids back. and you would not believe the text my dad sent me. Saying he was disguted with the way I was behaving during this matter. and that he found it abborhrent that I could be like this!
Well - furious wasn't the word. Ive not seen nor spoken to my dad in months as most you know recent events. But it was obvious who's side he was on without listening to me!
    Im so angry!
dlb knows what Ive had to put up with. Im surprised Ive not had a nervous breakdown through all the drama!

Stef - Im so sorry! Your situation puts mine into prospect. I know we all have these demons in our lives to face and go through. But what an evil person is he to with held those photo's of your son! Im disgusted with my exOH's behaviour, but he's a saint compared to your's.

Things to do today/this wk end
Car goes in the garage for work on the suspsension
    Usual Shopping & Housework
Get some things from the loft belonging to mum, as she moves next Sat.
Empty cupboard under stairs, as on Tues the engineer will come & replace my electric meter
My cousin in 40 today, and depending on weather, there is a bbq at his to celebrate. Its OH's turn to drive and let me drink. I think I might get plastered!

Right of to read this morning's thread now.
    Love as usual Emma xxxx

Morning everyone. I have a stonking hangover :o Why when I have a hang over can I never lie in? I guess body wakes me up to say feed and water me NOW. Own fault obviously, and it was quite fun.

Hugs to anyone who's worken early or had a rubbish night sleep.

Sorry, there's a rant about to come.. (Not an OS one either sorry, but it's on my mind). Long story but I am feeling slightly grumpy about a friend of ours and have woken up with it on my mind. Basically she makes the same mistakes (with certain men) over and over again. It all ends in heartbreak, she gets over it (with my helping and spending a lot of time helping to pick her up) and then says 'oh no never again' and then goes back to them for errr... well ;) and the heartbreak starts all over again. I have onlt known her for about a year as she was once upon a time OH's friend and I inherited her. Anyway, last night she told me that she's been, how to put this... Having some jiggery pokery with a chap that has dumped her from a great height TWICE before. Now I am coming to realise (as this is the third time she's done this while I've known her, with diff men) that there is only so much you can try and help someone, if they then choose to still behave like a bloomin idiot. Also, I would like to point out here that she's not a teenager! She's in her 30's and desperate to settle down.

Sorry, don't want to sound mean, I'm really not. :o I have just tried my best and now seen it all before and want to shake her and make her realise. But... Hmph. Oh well.

Sorry about that, just needed someone to spill to and I know you all like a bit of gossip :D

OS wise today, house stuff. Cutting hedges again (I console myself that it's v good for my upper arms), taking stuff to charity shop and posting 1 eBay parcel. No cooking today as MIL made us a yummy quiche on Thursday and we still have some left (isn't that nice of her?) and also have lasagne in the freezer for dinner. Oh, will pop to farm shop and get some salad bits and bobs too.

    Hope everyone has a great Saturday x x x

Another one here with a restless night. I read till about 1.30pm to take my mind of things, but ended up crying myself to sleep. In the end OH had to stroke my back to settle me down. This situation is not good for me.

Amie - so glad things have managed to sort themselves out. It was daunting at first, but it all falls into place - eventually.

anniebooklover - what little girl in portugal? Thats shocking!

moiliere - hope your ok after falling out of bed! I would have got back in and pushed him out! See how he likes it.

samsam - Glad to see your feeling better, however do keep an eye on those dizzy spells.

twink - whiskey festival? Are you allowed to do any tasting?

jockettuk - enjoy your evening and quality time with "me" - I would love to do that!

lynzpower - so glad jasmine if much better.

Catzine - lucky you, 1 more sleep till Florida. It comes round quickly! Im sure you'll have a lovely time!

Joannasmum - If I was buying for twins, I would ask the parents what they prefer, same outfits or different. Each have different preference. If I had twins, I would prefer seperate!

reverie - i do hope your friend gets her attitude sorted out soo ref these men. Nothing I could say to advise, but I'd certainly mention that as much as you appreciate your friendship, all your time & effort spent offering your shoulder etc, is wearing you down. We all make mistakes & have to learn from them, but to keep going back more! Is jus asking for trouble.

    Good morning :j

Well I have lots planned today, but we'll see if they get done

My house is a wreck, the ironing mountain is about to avalanche and I've got a few errands to do to (go to the sorting office to pick up some parcels, take some books back to the library, and get DD a few bits and bobs for her first overnight trip with the school  ).

    (((((hugs))))) Crazychik

Mioliere - my DH does crazy things in his sleep - I woke up one night and he was trying to strangle me  On another occasion he leapt across the bed thinking he was a wrestler and woke up when he hit the door at full speed :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great day
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Hello all

Well, my plan was to read the thread and post replied to everyone but I became distracted elsewhere on OS and now I must dash!!

So ((((hugs)))) to everyone who needs it, sorry I haven't been able to catch up with last week.

I gave my self sunstroke on Sunday (must remember....now I live be the sea (which rocks!!) I must put sunscreen on when sitting by the harbour!) and I felt ill until Wednesday. Then out of the office Thur/Frid so not been online much.

Off to take my mum out for a treat today as it's her birthday. Taking her to a vineyard near Totnes as a suprise. I did a radio show a few years ago and suggested we had a local tasting slot and er....I used to help out tasting :rotfl: :rotfl: We won't be going for the full £35 tour package because my mum doesn't like it when we spend money on her IYKWIM. So we're all taking a packed lunch and I'll buy her a cuppa in the cafe and then treat her to one of their lucious bottles of wine. I'll let you know how I get on!

Then tonight my friend is coming over so we can go into my local town and find out some bars. I really want to get to know where I live so I really appreciate her coming over to do this.

Oh dear...I've written quite a bit and should have responded to earlier posts. Sorry! :o Have good days all.
