For a better mobile life - stick with CPW

Over time, I eventually gathered just why CPW use that slogan.

Its simple - if you want a hassle free (or stress free) life during the duration of your mobile phone contract go with CPW. Be it cashback deal or whatever, CPW is pretty much a straight forward and to the point company that has nothing to hide like most others.

I recently received my last chequeback for my last contract. Received 3 in total all within 30 days, in fact my last one came in just 2 weeks of sending my bill. Like I said, they have nothing to hide, they also state it clearly on their site, that they guarantee customers they will get their cashbacks (of course providing you follow their terms). Even then they are quite flexible when it comes with cashbacks, exisiting CPW users who have been with them more then 12 months would know you can if you want you can send all your bills in month 12 and they will still pay your chequebacks.

On the other hand, idiots like mobileshop and phones2udirect don't make your mobile life any easier these days do they? :)

Like any company I think you will find they are not perfect and many people have had bad experiences with Carphone Warehouse. I would certaily never use them or trust them an inch.

I agree no company is perfect and you will always find happy customers and sad customers BUT we can only look at overall records. Of course, none of us have this information but there is geneal belief that for example mobileshop.com and especially phones2u direct have far more unhappy customers then CPW do.

I agree GTZ but where are you going to get your next cashback mobile contract from ?
I would like to go with CPW for my next contract but I don't see any good deals on their websiteat the moment.
I am just about to claim my 5th and final cashback from coolnewmobiles and I don't feel comfortable about taking a new contract with them due to the experience I have had.

its really CPW's after sales service that makes them ahead of others.

With regards to "reehsetin's" comment, yes that what I mean, they are very flexible with their cashback policy unlike others where even if you are 1 day overdue, they reject it. End of story. Poor business in my view, its these businesses who simply fail to look at a long term view and should be thinking "do we want this customer back again". They won't do if they are going to be too stubborn with customers.

'Best of a bad bunch' might come to mind. It just shows how devious and poor the other companies are. However can anyone think that a good company is one where if you send a letter of complaint to four directors and not even get an acknowledgement? Their customer service is beyond poor especially as they claim is so good.

But with CPW don't pay for having better cashback terms and security by less generous deals.

When was the last time you saw a 12 month free or even a 11 month free deal on there?

Personally I think 12 months free on a 12 month contract from CPW are a thing of the past. Their handset range over the past few months has gone down from about 207 to around 130. Their clearance phones from about 80 odd to 27, most of which are 18 month contracts. I think there are trying to position themselves as an upmarket retailer.

Well sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Its true they dont always tend to have the best cashback deals BUT it is their quality of AFTER SALES SERVICE that you are really paying for. With regards to cashbacks, no one other then CPW offer 60 days from bill date to send your bill for cashback claims and they guarantee you get your chequebacks providing the customer does their bit :)
