Flight delay compensation, all other non-EU airlines

So let me get this straight. You book a flight with a company that has for the last 3 weeks been delayed and then diverted meaning getting to your destination between 5 and 71/2 late. Now you are thinking that you might book an alternative flight, no show for the Air Corsica flight and are querying if you can get compensation from Air Corsica. What Tyzap is quite correct. No show and compensation. You need to forget about booking an alternative flight and show up for you original flight. If they are more than 3 hours late getting to you destination you will be due €250 per passenger as long as the delay is not an extraordinary circumstance, but you can cross that bridge if needed. You could always contact the CAA much good that will do.0

8th June left 2hrs 25 late but not tracked. EUClaim says under 3 hours late (as does for 22nd June)
where are you seeing the data about the 5 hour+ delays?0 -
We have had people on those flights. Corsican Places also has a number of claim forms on its web site for its clients to use which confirm the extent of the delays.0

Hello, I would really appreciate any advice.
I flew with American Airlines from Dublin to San Francisco, via Philadelphia. The stopover flight in Philadelphia was delayed by 6 hours and I obtained a printout of the reason from the airline and it was due to a maintenance issue with a prior aircraft (so definitely their fault).
I submitted a claim for the full 600 euro of compensation, quoting the relevant legislation and received a response saying it did not fall under that legislation as the flight concerned took off from the US and not Europe. I replied quoting the recent case where it was deemed that the issue with with the overall ticketed journey being from Europe:
"The European Court of Justice issued a ruling on 31st May 2018 regarding EU261 compensation for delayed flights involving onward connecting flights outside the EU. All journeys departing the EU that arrive more than 3 hours late at the final ticketed destination are eligible for compensation, including those caused by delays of onward connecting flights outside the EU. "
I again requested the full amount in compensation. I got a response saying their position remains and sorry, hope you fly with us again etc.
I'm just wondering if anyone can advise where I go to next? There were actually three people in my party so the full amount is 1800 euros and I am keen to claim as I believe it does fall within the legislation. Does anyone have any advice on next steps in challenging them? I used the template letter from mse and provided all details including ticket numbers, flight times etc so I don't see what a claim company would add at this stage?
Many thanks in advance for any help.Mortgage November 2016- €202,000

Help,
We had a delayed flight from Miami to London (4hours), this meant we missed our connecting flight to Manchester, BA said there were no more flights to Manchester so we had been put on a flight to Leeds, then had to make our own way home back to Manchester(keep receipts). As this meant even longer delay I requested a taxi to take us back up to Manchester which BA paid for. When I put a claim in for delayed flight I was told as I got a taxi home and didn’t take the flight I was not entitled to compensation! Does anyone have any advice or help. We only took the taxi as we were tired and didn’t fancy waiting even longer for a flight then have to make our way back to Manchester from Leeds. 🙈0 -
Was this all on one ticket? Put your flight details into EUclaim and bottonline and see what they say. If they agree you are due compensation then you either hand it over to one of them or send a letter before action to American Airlines UK Head officeas they are not part of the resoultion process. Download Vauban's guide from the internet and the template letter is on page 6.0

How long after you arrived in London was the flight to Leeds?0 -
Hi we arrived 2 hours late for our original flight for Manchester then had wait another 3 hours to get the Leeds flight0

Thanks for your advice. It was all one ticket, which I have pointed out to them but they are responding as if they are separate flights. They would be correct if they were separate flights, as a flight from Philadelphia is not covered, but the flight was from Dublin to San Francisco with a stopover in Philadelphia.
I have tried to click on the guide to download but it doesn't seem to work, I will see if I can find it somewhere else. I will also put my details into the EU checker as you advised.Mortgage November 2016- €202,000

Could I just check also what you mean by "send a letter before action to American Airlines UK Head officeas they are not part of the resoultion process"?
I have sent an email and then a further response to an email to American Airlines "customer service" based in the US.Mortgage November 2016- €202,000
