She doesn't sound like a true friend to me, if she can just dismiss you on heresay from someone else, someone else who by the way hurt you very badly. If I was you, I would cut my losses and leave them to it, she may, in time, realise what a plonker she is being and decide your friendship is worth saving but no, you're not being unreasonable, leave the ball in her court, if she doesn't come back to you then ce la vie, another one bites the dust.0

Easiest solution is just to deactivate your facebook account. I did it a couple of weeks ago and it's such a relief!0

I totally agree. I use facebook to keep in touch with people I dont see often, half of which are overseas and its used more to catch up on photos of people holidays, kids etc. The majority of the people I keep in contact with are communicated with on a social level, not a gossip level!
I'm guessing a lot of people will give me stick for this post and that's fair enough as when you listen to the story that sounds like its fresh out of high school. I think the problem I have is the level to which it has been amplified when to me it's not really something I thought adults should argue about?0 -
