I'd be keen to know the defences used previous against PE.0

I'd be keen for fake newbies from PE to get off the forum...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
I'm not from PE lol. A friend of mine got a ticket for parking in a hotel car park. So far only the first notice but after reading this I've said just ignore it.
There was no light above the signs and besides how can they even prove the car wasn't cloned (it happens).
I did PM you Coupon-Mad. How do you want me to prove it?0 -
Defences tend to be handled offline. It is rare for someone to receive court papers, and every case will have its own facts to consider. There isn't a standard template for this.
As pogofish says, most of the points that we include can be found on many threads in here.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
The defence that interests me is the one about them not having the right to enforce the parking charges as it's not their land.
I read a transcript of a court case where this was the defence.
Just wondering if that even still applies.
I guess the best thing to do is wait and see what happens, if it gets to court, I presume there are folks who know their onions and will be able to assist?0 -
I have in fact found a superb letter which was endorsed by Coupon-Mad which basically asks them to provide contract details of the landowner etc.
Now the first letter was ignored (the PCN) but when the follow up comes, we can just pretend we didn't receive the first.
In fact, with no proof of postage that could be ones defence for never responding.0
