            Interesting idea about gadgets for OH. He loves gadgets but I'm not so keen!
 A weekend in Venice would be nice but how suitable is it for a 3yo? Anyone know?
 There's no point in home improvements because our plan is to completely renovate and extend when we sell OH's house from before we married, which we rent out at the moment. I read the market will really pick up in 2015 so we're waiting for then.
 I'm wondering about a piece of art...:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

            i dont want to sound rude but why ask what to do with your wind fall, your only going to do what you want to do with it in the end, so ideas of how to save spend it seem pointless, just my opinionIf you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague0

 I wanted some inspiration. And I am getting some. The £1,000 extra is fab, I wouldn't buy art, sure it's beautiful but I would want to enjoy it, it's free money, fun money, time to make a dream come true, bring with it some laughter, a short break away, trip to Disneyland Paris with your little one.?
 A Lego land trip?
 That gadget/ laptop/ iPad/ camera/ dinner service/ kitchen aid/ settee you have always wanted?0

 I'm wondering about a piece of art...
 Venicians have children too! (one of the weirdest and most cringe worthy things I have heard was a British couple in Venice tutting about the unfenced canals (seriously, where did they think they were going) and wondering where all the children were and how many died each year.
 I love art, and would definitely consider that as an option, of you and your dh can find something you both love.0

            yes it was worth it, i gave my opinion, which i have a right too, the same as any other member here
 Yes of course , but every single thread would open and close if ' you are only going to do what you want to do......so ideas seem pointless'0

            Save half, spend half - maybe on a long-weekend to Paris, or something...0
