£25.45 pcm, access to 26 gyms, sauna, over 1000 classes, pools, etc. Feel obliged to get in at least 4 classes a week to get my moneys worth.

£19.99 with simply gym. They took over from Fitness First and due to them reducing the monthly cost (with no contract) my gym is now very busy.

It has weights, cardio machines and classes. No pool.

Busy gym is good for business, but I don't like not having machines available when I want to go. Will see if hyper keen gym bunnies fade away during the year!!

Wow these all make mine look pricey.
£38 a month, rolling contract- must give 2 months notice to cancel and cannot rejoin for I think 3 months after that.
Chain run, but access to all 4 of their local centres, only use one, consider occassionally using one half way home from work.

Membership covers all classes (the main reason I go to the gym), swim, reduced court hire, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, free weights room and gym. Not bad all in all but £20 a month would be nicer!

No other gyms near me are cheaper, all the same but further away or more expensive.
    MFW 2010- £112,500 + 20% Equity Loan = £150,000 35 years :o
    2013- £108,877.28 + 20% / current OP = 19 years :T

Target to be Shared Equity Free- 2016
Target for holiday to Australia- 2014
Currently training for a Commando Challenge- drop and give me 20

£32.50 a month, it was local council but now privately run, as an arms length company seperate from the council. I regularly attend 3 of the pools in the area and can use sanua / steam room at each location (this would be £5 a time). I attend the gym 3 times a week again I have the options to go to about 6 differnet places, but for the gym I tend to stick to the closest one. If I wanted to attend classes it would be an extra fiver a month.

No contract, although I notice they are now allowing you to pay 12 months upfront, which would work out cheaper over the year, it would get you two free months.

£28 a month, council gym run by some Trust thing. I can use 4 centres across the borough, and that includes gyms, pools and millions of fitness classes. That fee is for any time the places are open (6am - 10pm). There's a geat thermal suite too which is an extra £9 per month or £9 per visit (!!!!!!?). Not used it but my son works there and has said he'll sneak me in next time we're there together :-D I think that £9/month will reduce as no bu99er is paying it (no wonder).

I think there's reduced court/pitch hire too but I've never used them so I don't know for sure.

Puregym - £17.99 a month mainly using one near work, but also a couple near home and another in a different city I'm often in. Treadmills, 2 types of x-trainer, rowing, loads of wieghts machines, free weights, different types of bikes, classes. Standard chaning rooms and showers. No pool, no sauna, no towels. Good deal imho.

(new gyms are £10.99 for use of just the one gym, otherwise I think standrad membership is now £18.99. london is dearer).

I was using DWFitness at £31 a month, but I'd stopped using the pool so i've saved £13 a month.

£26 - local authority gym no access to pools but access to numerous facilities around the area & pretty sure it's discounted rates for classes although I can't see me down the Zumba class any time soon!
Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.

Come on now xXMessedUpXx, 3 months isn't long enough.

Why not try here for £13.99 a month, no excuses.
