  • I paid at the beginning of the uni year, works out about 20/month. But theres only a pool during the summer because its outdoors (why i ask you???!). It's a uni gym. Fairly good weights section, lots of classes.
  • A lot.
But its family membership, includes pools, gym, tennis, classes etc etc
    works out £1 / visit / class
    Counting the beans : £1
Knowing which beans to count : £99
  • £12.50 per month through wages for the gym on site at my work.Good selection of free weights, multi gyms and bikes/row/cross/treadmills.
  • I live in a medium sized town where I pay £25 a month (no contract) to go to a local gym that is purely weights/cardio machines. Considering moving to a bigger gym just to be able to swim, but my gym buddies go to this one!
  • I pay £50 per month for a private (not chain) club that includes gym facilities, heated pool, sauna, steam room, tennis courts, regular personal training sessions and classes like yoga, aquafit, pilates etc. They also provide towels and toiletries and lockers are free so you just need to show up with what you wear...I get a hefty discount through a works group scheme and think it's exceptionally good value.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!
  • 18.99/month at pure gym. you have a primary and secondary so I can use one near me and one near work. you can change the secondary whenever you like. even at the gym itself before you go in. shame they dont feel they need a pool but with noone on duty maybe safest. All the equiptment is excellent and the classes are great. Never been early in the morning but at peak times there is still equiptment free. Shame about the joining fee but if you look online there are codes to waive the joining fee. You can also freeze your account for 5/month

    i pay £10 a month for https://www.thegym

it's fine for me I paid £10 for ten visits through groupon to try it out. As it's so cheap I don't feel guilty if I can't go for a while. Most people spne dthis at the pub in an evening after all! It has plenty of classes and the usual facilities but not luxurious of course

I'm a member of the fitness club run at a local private school. Costs £36 a month (no contract). Gym, pool, sports hall, tennis courts, and a decent selection of classes. No sauna/steam room/Jacuzzi.

I think it's a decent price considering it's in London (zone 3) and other local options are either council-run leisure centres (too crowded), don't have a pool, or are expensive chains like David Lloyd.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning
