Gym membership is subsidised by my employer, so I only pay £40 for unlimited gym access and two sessions per week with a personal trainer. Can't complain with that at all.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Through work (onsite gym) £15pcm no contract (needs 1 months notice to quit/cancel DD) - all classes free, use gym, personal trainer, etc. only disadvantage no swiming pool.
local gym with pool (attached to school so only open from 4pm til 9pm) £300 per year joint (that's what we had two years ago, we ended up only using the swim bit of it - not very MSE. Same offer on this year, declined).
next local pool/gym is municpal pool & gym and that's WAY too far away for me to bother going...just in case you need to know:

£35 per month, price-for-life. Unlimited access to brand new pool, teaching/kiddy pool, gym and all classes. Plus advance booking for classes, free training plans etc.
(It's so brand new it isn't actually open yet! But we were members of the same company - EveryoneActive - and used to have to travel further to get to our 'local' centre, so can't wait for the new one by us to open!)
We joined up because we swim a lot, and it was cheaper to join than pay-as-we-went. Now the new one is opening near us I will definitely try out the gym too though, as I'll have more time, without the travelling! Might even try a class...Mortgage - £[STRIKE]68,000 may 2014[/STRIKE] 45,680.0 -
I pay £19.99pm at the local district council gym. It is just gym though, classes not included but they do have lots of new equipment and a big variety of classes if I chose to do them! Im thinking of cancelling and just doing exercise at home as I have found a Youtube channel (which I can play on my TV) that has over 300 videos all varying lengths and types with usually no equipment needed which I find gives a good burn after doing!Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150

I remember I paid a £150 for monthly membership, but that was in London.0

£29 per month for gym, pool, sauna and all classes at my local council leisure centre, plus all the other ones in the county. I'm tied in for six months at that rate, otherwise it's £34 a month rolling contract. When I joined I got a welcome pack of small towel, water bottle, keyring token for the lockers and an exercise notebook. You get small reward packs every so often when you've done 50 gym sessions or 30 swims, that sort of thing, with t-shirts and vouchers for fitness magazines etc. It's a bit like being back at primary school and having a sticker chart for good behaviour!Val.0
