Well, CC now down to £400. Will try knock a bit more off it during August. Tricky long month with both DD's in full time childcare so won't be cheap. DD1 is LOVING holiday club which is really brilliant. So nice to have a happy girl around the place who wants to get dressed in the morning!!
Had a fantastic break, but on last night of hols I got food poisoning and felt pretty dreadful, coupled with 2 nights this week of DD2 up for circa 3 hrs intermittently and I feel rather tired again. Anyway, I felt so good while I was away it was good to know that the permanent dreadful tiredness is not due to my age!!! Things are definitely getting a little easier though.
The garden did not fare brilliantly while I was away. The tomato plant is huge however and has broken its stem so I need to get a stick to tie it to and a bigger pot. Everything is quite a lot bigger. I did a bit of tidying up tonight out there which made me feel good. Just waiting for carrot cupcakes to come out of oven, and then bed.:D0 -
Really pleased you had a good break. You deserve it! Hope the tomato plant recovers...they do need staking but any old twig will do!
Have a good weekend

Hi BH
That's great news on the CC :T and really glad you had a good break minus the food poisoning of course
I've almost emptied my bank account 2 days after payday but it's all gone to the CC and bills so at least no new debt.
Have a great weekend :beer:0 -
Thanks I2U and Brizzle!
Have written a short term plan of goals to start getting me to where I want to be for next year...
Am trying to decide whether to go to CSA re maintenance. Am still being paid less than half what it should be. I see so many things saying they are a nightmare to deal with. I am not sure why though??
Did a big shop at the weekend - I def spend more at Mr T than I do anywhere else. Anyway, will make sure all 5 work days are NSD's.
Bought DD2 a scooter using old unused wedding gift vouchers from Mr J Lewis. At least it puts them to good use and I figure the value will just depreciate if I don't use them. She is dying to have her own and means we can go out on the scooters. So it can be an early birthday present for her and hasn't cost me anything from my own pocket. :money:0 -
Happy scooting!!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Girls are super happy with the scooters!! Went for the first outing ever where I wasn't carrying an exhausted daughter and/or tricycles/ other equipment home! May even be able to take my running shoes soon and get a work out at the same time! Happy days.
Determined to go to CSA as no progress - it's a no brainer really. Doing well on the spending front - no outgoings apart from weekly food this w/end as didn't go anywhere. Managed to use some Mr T vouchers during the shop and got a 5p off petrol voucher which I can use when I go down south later this week, and where the petrol is cheaper anyway. Suddenly starting to feel the benefit of cutting back generally and have now caught up on the horrible surprise bills, so aiming to be clear of CC by end of August.0 -
Oh, and the tomato plant has sprouted loads of tomatoes!!0
