  • Welll, I bought some 'unnecessary' moisturiser, and another cream to replace my usual tinted mosituriser day cream...feeling I have aged somewhat in the last year :eek: and an eyeliner. Hopefully i will feel good tomorrow morning when i put it on, and not guilty!!!!! :o

    But thanks for cutting me some slack Brizzle :beer:
  • I just wanted to leave a quick message as it's late. Yours is the first diary where I've left a response. But I felt I needed to tell you how amazing I think you are. I'm a mother of two small children and I don't know how you do all that you're doing, I take my hat off to you (and other single parents). We love our children, but it's the hardest job in the world and even harder when you're doing it on your own. Keep up with the diary!
  • Thank you Lizzie!! I appreciate it :)
    How old are your two?

    WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! :beer::beer::beer::j:j:j:money::money::money:

    Now to start the serious business of SAVING!!!:T:T:T

    I have to confess I was inspired by I2U's diary today and thought - Just Do It! :D
  • That is absolutely, amazing, fantastic, incredible, news Breeze :beer::j:T You should be really proud of yourself!!

    Totally agree that savings should be next BUT..... maybe you should treat yourself and the girls next month as a massive pat on the back for a job well done. (All with cash of course) Then you can get down to building that Emergency Fund :money:

    I hope now that you've smashed your debts you won't disappear from the forum, you too have inspired me to keep aiming for that debt free day :T

  • Hi Breeze,
    Well done you! What a relief it must be. In answer to your question my DS is 5 and my DD is 11 months. They're our world, but they can also be very hard work, hence my total admiration for single parents!
