happy birthday Dusty, almost over now but I'm faffing around this evening, haven't caught up on houseflying or thread.

Bit of a pathetic day all round; fretting over weekend. Ages ago in a fit of enthusiasm I said I'd join OH, brother, SIL and other friends at a horse training demo in Liverpool. I get a bit carried away when other people are planning things, and the thought of 2 nights in a hotel (well ok it's only Travelodge but it's still fun and will be nice to have time with my brother). Anyway the closer it's got, the less sure I've been that I want to go, and the last day or so have been in a real state. I think mainly because although I'm generally fine, I lost my old horse quite a while back and sometimes it gets to me. I'm torn between guilt at a waste of money if I go to this event and cry all the way through/don't enjoy it/only attend one day (the most likely) and lessening my oh's enjoyment of the event, as he'll worry and be upset if I am. Sorry this isn't flying but I had to just say it somewhere. Anyway I'm taking Kindle, laptop and some work, and I'll just go with how I feel. If I waste money I'll just have to be thrifty for a week or so to "punish myself".

Actually I did do a bit of flying after work; I washed up as wm awaiting a new part (good reason for going away for the weekend!) arriving Tuesday.

Thanks for reading if you got this far xx

Hugs to you, we all get days like that - I've just had one too. Hope things feel better in the morning.

I have absoultely no comment to make :silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced:

    .
    lol

empty plastic bottles; mainly; tin cans; we can recycle it all including aerosols so I do;)

Looks like DDs Republic order hasn't been dispatched and won't be; chargeback wil be initiated if necessary.

We have a new store - TK Maxx - another 'out of town' (well a bit). But we are to lose our lovely, independant dept store soon as it will close - and it's in town.

All very well having all this choice it just means our money is spread thinner. The councuil will have to wake up, smell the coffe and cut car parkign charges even further. I shall still go for a look at TK though, given I have had some bedding bargains from there;)

Anyway the Vallikids now both have shorter hair.

Quick roundup of week, if its gone, it's done (or ain't getting done)

Meal plan now you know what is in your defrosted freezer
    Mend something that needs fixing
    Dust any pictures
Sort out your seeds in the hope that one day spring will arrive
Write a list of jobs for the spring

I've made an executive decision, I'm not waiting for my stepdad builder to replace my skirting. It's been wantin doing since last May. So I'm going to attempt it myself. How hard can it be, right? :rotfl: then I will be able to wipe them :o

I have two pocket buttons to so sew back on my jeans, which I've been putting off a while.

And I do kind of have a spring list but it needs reviewing with my calendar. Inlaws are away next month but will have the kids for a couple of days when they get back so I can get on with DS bedroom.

Lastly, my pics don't need dusting but I've left it on the list to remind me one of them has slipped inside the frame and needs adjusting.

Shower and hair wash first, I think. Kids are bickering already

Morning all. I've been AWOL for a few days, lurking, doing the dailies, appointments and lots of paid stuff so flying has to resume now before today's paid stuff.

Glad to report that SickDog is healing nicely, still can't do walkies but she doesn't need another check up for a month.

Right off to do the bedroom and may even look at today's list. I'm also intending to take a proper lunch break today to do the ironing.

Have a great day everyone. It is Friday after all!

Helenjelly, well done to OH and DD xx

Pigpen, DD was playing with some local kids who had them and that's why she wanted them. She only plays with these kids once in a blue moon, thay are in a different school and only want to play with her when their other friends are not out. DD was waiting in the rain the other day for one of them........I felt awful for her.

New day new start here...............when I get out of bed!!!

    Thanks again all xx

    Morning all

Dusty - Happy Birthday for yesterday.

Mind has now gone blank :o Hugs, spoons, get well soon vibes, etc to all those in need.

Didn't properly log in yesterday as it was paid stuff and I've been trying to come up with a form that I can fill in to make keeping my accounts easier. I'm into my third year now and I still haven't found a method that works for me :( If it worked on a monthly/4 weekly timetable it wouldn't be so bad, but 3 week timetable makes it harder to keep track, especially when customers have problems paying so I end up coughing up the money initially :( I'll manage to get it sorted in time to do my tax return (I like to get it done ASAP into the new financial year so it's not hanging over me).

DD decided that since she was hungry when she got up she'd have breakfast straight away at 6am when she got up! This meant she was ready for school by 7am  Unfortunately she decided to put her school shoes on before she came upstairs to ask if she could have the TV on and has managed to trample dry mud right through the house  She has been warned she is vacuuming the house tonight when she gets in since she is responsible for the mess!

Its the last day of term here, so I'm going to try and catch up with all my films/programmes I can't watch when DD is around, then hopefully next week if the weather stays nice we might get a chance to go out and do stuff :D Between the bad weather and her dud knee over the summer, I don't think we've been on a day out in over a year! :o If we have its been with a purpose, like back to school shopping. I'm hoping to take her to the Museum of Liverpool which opened in 2011 and I still haven't managed to visit since she doesn't want to go and see the new Glam exhibition at the Tate.

    Monday - Kitchen
    Level Two
    Mop the floor
    Level Three
Clean any windows/glass/mirrors in this room
    HHI
    Extras
Send that email/message/phone call that you have been meaning to do for ages - got to email Dr M@rtens back about the fact DD's shoes need to be resoled already when I only bought them in October. They emailed me saying to send them photos as it's not right they should have worn out so quickly!

Shrove Tuesday - Bathroom and study :D:D

Wednesday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs :D:D

Thursday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level Two
    Wipe the skirting boards
    Level Three
Dust the lampshade and curtain pole

Friday - End of the week round up
    Level Two
Strip, wash and replace any bedding - post bath job some point before Sunday
Find a home for a homeless item
    Level Three
Hoover anywhere that needs it -DD's job when she gets in from school
    Clean a window
Sort that drawer/pile which has been on your list for ever
    Extras
    Eat a frog
Try to spend 15 minutes outside if it stops raining for a bit - sweep a path, remove dead plants from pots or just listen to the bird song

Going to get something to do while I watch my programmes. ;)

A quick update from me before I get properly cracking with the paid stuff. So far this morning, I've sorted washing/airer - all in various stages, emptied all bins, put out recycling, done the bedroom jobs from the list, hoovered through the house. From today's list I have spent 15 mins in garden, tidying and have weeded part of the patio. I now have a sink full of dog toys in soak.
