    I have water!!!!!:j:j:j

Since getting home from work and discovering that I have water again I have cleaned the bath and bathroom sink and then dirtied the bath again by getting in it. Never thought I would appreciate as much as I did tonight. The pile of dirty dishes in the kitchen can wait until tomorrow, as can everything else. I'm far too clean to get dirty again by cleaning other things.

DH has made amends for my car crash birthday.

I am wearing a beautiful Swarovsk! necklace. We don't do valentines so this has caught me completely by surprise. I'm very happy.

He's put another layer of astonish paste on the hob and its starting to look more like it should. He's a pain in the proverbial sometimes but I love him anyway!

  • HHC completed and now the kitchen is tidy, rest of house generally straight, DD1 is doing homework/coursework and DD2 tucked up in bed :)

Have learnt that studying has to happen during the day when DD's are both out at school; I naively thought that I could get some done this evening after tea but of course DD's always want something or just to chat as soon as I look busy ;)

Feeling quite tired too today so going to have a read of the thread and catch up here, then shower and early night for me :) Will study tomorrow as no errands to run and minimal flying is my plan....

    Evening ladies

The only house job done today other than making dinner and eating it is to go through the shoe box with the kids. Those that don't fit are currently in the WM and TD ready to be offered to good homes.

Had a crap night's sleep last night and then slept in once I nodded off. Needed to be at the auction house this morning to get some early bids in before taking OH to the hospital for a small op.

Seems like loads of you are cracking on with the lists and for those who are new or returning, don't be disheartened if you don't feel as if you are achieving much as it will all come together in time. I have a really manageable upstairs now that I'm on top of it, and it only takes me about an hour to get it straight. The downstairs is another matter, but with a little and often approach, I reckon I'll be able to square it up more and more quickly each time in the coming few months. Remember also, what you don't get done this week, will come around again next week :)

Working all day tomorrow, so looks like it will be Saturday before I revisit the lists.

Thursday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clear the floors and hoover[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Declutter and wipe one surface[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
Strip and remake the bed - SATURDAY
Wipe the skirting boards - SATURDAY
    Level Three
Dust the lampshade and curtain pole
    [STRIKE]Empty any upstairs bins[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Dust any pictures[/STRIKE]
    Extras
[STRIKE]Sort out a handbag[/STRIKE] Dis them all a couple of weeks ago
[STRIKE]Sort out your seeds in the hope that one day spring will arrive[/STRIKE] DD and OH did this last night
[STRIKE]Eat cake[/STRIKE] Had a Greggs custard doughnut today whilst waiting for OH - naughty, but nice!

    TMD xx
