    Happy Birthday Dora bday2.gif

Well done Opto-mum;) that so IS a positive!

Have had the 'day off' today as I am working for my colleague after half term - hopwever I have been in to work as the PTA were cleaning and clearing in the old ICT suite and lots of flinging was planned - so I made sure lots got flung; saved some people's personal possessions from being flung and made sure a cupboard I hated got taken away;)

So not really a day off but a good job well done.

Have done the ironing and started doing some tidying...

    Afternoon all

Opto I wouldn't bother with the GP yet unless you have health issues. Wait a couple of weeks then go and congrats.

Sat with friend for 2 hours who is regretting getting a puppy and very tearful.

Need to fix DS2's work tie and do early dinner as he has to go into work and DS3 has cricket. DS1 already back at work.

    I have cleaned the bathrooms!

Hi there, greetings from a snowy, blowy tree house! We've had snow and high winds today, and although we've got really good insulation, double-glazing and the heating full on, it's been cold indoors today - just warming up a bit now.

I've had a 'sorting out' day today, sorted out a wardrobe and some drawers in the bedroom, trying to relocate some winter and summer clothes. Also cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and dusted through. OH did the DW and the TD is currently finishing off the last WM load.

We are not too bad, but once this wet/snowy/icy weather has gone we desperately need to tidy the garden, shed and summerhouse! But, for today, I'm going to chill out, as not at work, and enjoy some ME time!!

For the bird lovers, LOADS of birds down today! I got out early just as the snow started and put extras down for them, and was rewarded by two robins, two blackbirds, about eight or so starlings and four magpies!

The new cat was funny, too! He dashed out for a wee and gambolled in the snow, then came dashing in and jumped on me, drying his feet in my jumper then snuggling in my arms!!

Good wishes all round: Bossymoo, I'm so glad you weren't hurt, what a shock for you. Skint, good vibes coming your way too - I HATE nosy neighbours, we've one in our street and luckily, she's just far enough away not to be able to spy on us. Mumto5, I'm glad all is good with you, what a shock for you, too.

    Bye for now, R x

    Afternoon all

Opto I wouldn't bother with the GP yet unless you have health issues. Wait a couple of weeks then go and congrats.

i have a mild form of cerebral palsy and scoliosis of the spine. they told my parents when i was a child i would never be able to carry children. i had my son at 16 they kept a close eye on me throughout the pregnancy and kept warning me about miscarrage then still born then pre term labour ..... i proved them all wrong and got to 40 weeks and 2 days having a natural delivery with no assistance (they also warned me id probably have to have a c-section.) after i had my son i asked if id be ok to have children in the future and they said they wont know until the time comes but i was proberly 'lucky' with my son and because i was young i was flexible which probably is why i carried him for as long as i did with no problems. i had an amazing pregancy and and amazing birth... tbh i think the next pregnancy will be fine.... personally i dont think they liked the fact i 'proved' them wrong .... that wasn't my intention tho my intention was to get as far along the pregnancy as i could and to be holding a healthy baby at the end of it ... thats part the reason we planned to have another now to complete the family well im well enough. because as i get older it will get worse most probably so its kinda a thing of the older i get the less chance i have IYSWIM xxxx (my cp effects me from waist down(pelvis hips ect are all effected) this is why it could effect carrying babies)

xxx other than that and asthma im healthy :) and live every day like everyone else :T

but i was thinking of leaving it untill the time that id next be due on (begining of march) because we're moving house in the next few weeks so we'll be moving doctors. we're not telling family or friends till after the 12 weeks scan (we decided this when we talked about ttc #2) ... if i can keep it covered that long i was showing really early with our son. i want to know baby is ok and not tell anyone before i need to if that makes sense.. xxx
