    Quick post....

Hoppy Birdday Dorajar and Bossy's Dad:beer:

sorry I don't have a scooby what any of those lines mean, but I'll cross whatever I have that's cross-able for you.;)
An englishwoman's home should be her castle, but do I really have to put in a moat and drawbridge, and station archers on the roof?
I suggest a robust Warding spell too, for good measure.:D I used to get so cross when the old biddy who used to live next door actively encouraged her grandkids to peer through our patio doors; it did make us get on and get the 6' fence put in though, previously it had only been a low dividing fence, and they could stand at the bottom of her garden with binoculars and spy on us.

Can't hang around - need to take Mary outside to declutter the contents of her bladder (better the garden than the kitchen floor):D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Sorry for being MIA, my life just seems not to be mine atm, all the daily type stuff is done and always gets done, I just don't seem to have the time to get online!

I find this tricky too! I tend to read bits of the thread on my phone whilst waiting at various after school clubs but don't get round to posting much for days. I suppose it's still really useful to pop in to check the lists and say hi though; hope you get some time for yourself soon :)

Had a quick read of the last couple of pages so....

OptoMum - I wouldn't like to say for sure but good luck x
    Dorajar - Happy Birthday!
Robedha1 - Hope you get some water soon!!! Any idea how much longer you've got to wait?
Mumto5 - So glad that you got home in time to avert a potential fire! I have no idea how you'll clean the hob though, sorry...
Skint - I hope you find time get some rest; you always seem to be so busy, busy.... take care x
Love the shopping list! So completely appropriate Dancemum :)

Anyway, that's more than enough time spent on here so logging off to get on with some studying....

    Cake :)

woohoo optimistic-mummy, I can't see the pic either but piggers knows about these things ;)

just about to leave work, is blizzards here, has been swirling down thick and fast for hours. so i think i'll postpone my errands until the thaw and head straight home.

I'll see how bad the roads are en route and decide on whether to pick up tots now or leave them till 4. Might get a few things done at home if they can stay at nursery for a while... Maybe sort the coat cupboard.

Thankfully don't need any supplies, we are well stocked so we will just hole up tonight and await the big thaw tomorrow.

Found my dad, he is full of cold but being looked after, and told me not to come as his street is bad when it snows.

So I'll email him a pic of his cake, portion it up and freeze it for him. He said we'll have a cuppa at the weekend instead as he doesn't want to pass his bugs on to us :A

Poor dad, what a way to spend your 60th (he is working too, although said he will finish early and he's only a 5 min walk home).
