opmummy~~ I've never had kids, but I would suggest you start looking after yourself, and book an appointment with the dr or nurse.

Hi, still lurking and flying :) So far this week I've done the kitchen/diner, living room and hallway and today all the bedrooms. Just the bathroom left for tomorrow. And I've kept up with the washing.

Just finished hand washing the kitchen floor. I mopped it but it still felt tacky to walk on so I've got on my hands and knees and done it. Waiting for it to dry now so I can get to the kettle.

We had snow for an hour this morning but luckily it didn't pitch and it's just rain now. I am so looking forward to it being a bit warmer and maybe even some sun. It's been so dull.

:eek::eek: nearly crashed coming out of work! Parked on a slight hill, and even though I was going ever so slow, I slid the last 2-3 metres out into oncoming traffic :eek::eek:

Thankfully a random white-van driver managed to apply his brakes as I hit my horn, and gave him a very grateful wave. A bit down the road he pulled alongside to check I was ok, cue another grateful wave...

Yowsers, I was on tenterhooks all the way home then, it was just awful conditions. I didn't collect the kids, but I will walk round for them I think. Not sure my nerves could take another car trip, even a 2 minute one!

Put heating on, am going to make a well needed cuppa...

Eta optimistic mummy I can see the pic now, looks like a pos to me! Congratulations!

Wow how scary Bossy - grab the little ones, and a brandy whilst your at it

Dog and family walked - out for 2 hours and collected firewood whilst we were out which is now chopped and sitting in the barn to dry out for next winter.

Dishes done, TD x 3, BM on, all washing folded and taken to respective rooms for putting away later.

Had freezer surprise for lunch - cottage pie and pickled beetroot for OH, Carrot soup, ham and whoopsied rolls for us 3.

Now going to crack on - I will not sit down until the kitchen and lounge floors are swept, hoovered and mopped. Will ponder what to have for tea tonight whilst I'm busy.

Going for it for an hour I reckon - anyone want to join me?
