We found ourselves in Asda at twenty to one in the morning
Our shopping was rubbish as well (felt like a snack after a late movie date), I bet they thought we were drunk or worse!0 -

Just spent two and a half hours singing to panicked ponyplops while the idiots in the yard next door had a mahoosive bonfire right by their stables in high winds and setting fireworks off over our stables.0

Herself was ok this morning she just wanted out.
Took her to a rally this afternoon and came back in the dark torrential rain and high winds. That cold where your fingers are so cold they are useless.

Poor you and poor ponyplops. Sounds like you did really well tho' Idiots near us let off fireworks too. I just dont get it. If they want to burn money fair enough - but - why live in a rural area with horses around and let off fireworks. I just dont get it. Last year stomped off down the road to give idiots letting them off a piece of my mind. Stopped by Mr Watty who said I couldn't spare it.:rotfl:And that we have to live here and throwing a strop was not best plan, but to calmly speak to them the following day and say if they wanted to do it again could they let me know so I could get a sedative from vet. So I took his advice and they genuinely had not thought animals would be scared. Was astonished they were so ....err....thick????:(Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Soo thick. You can get animal friendly low noise fireworks too.

Your headtorch sounds like a great deal - which of the pound shops was it?
I agree on the warm home point, I had half expected to make an angry (I hate my boiler) rant post today, luckily we escaped with a scare0 -
Hello,
I don't understand why people think November 5 is a moveable feast. It should be just one day and illegal the rest of the time.
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0
