Thanks for the link to the fiscal fast thread. I loved reading it. I have an uncomfortable feeling I'd be in the cheating camp - but - I do love how creative some people are and how they are enjoying simple stuff. That part is very inspiring.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Made it to the end of the week. Just. Bit of ponyplops cuddling, wet labrador on lap, a fire, some home brew and an episode of Blakes 7 and i felt much better.
DH spent £4.50 in mr s and i paid the dogsitter £39. Going to buy hay and straw today which will see off £100.0 -
Busy day. Pony groomed, exercised and cuddled. We now have 20 bales of straw neatly stacked and 22 of hay.
I managed to crack the new concrete yard at the corner by driving two and a half tons of disco on it. D'oh.0 -
have decided ponyplops is safest in the open since stables are under trees...if the storm comes.
Veggie soup is cooking since it is the only way to con the smalls into eating veg.

Do you have to blend it?0 -
Love the simple life too. Fingers crossed re the storm. If I had a pony I would be tempted to bring it indoors, which is probably why I shouldn't have one....Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
I do have to blend it...feel like i have just set up a joke.
We have already had the conversation about "will she blow away" ..."well she weighs about a third of a ton so if she does blow away so will the cars"...i did think about bringing her home!!0
