eta I am paying £32 per lunar month for insurance on the Plops. Could this be better/cheaper?

Handsome baby is £41.87 a month so I would say good deal! Who are you with (if you don't mind saying).
Mind you unlikely to get a good deal now handsome baby off work with "issues"
FoggyFellPony uninsured. Given his age I decided to allocate part of our emergency fund to cover his vet bills as insurance was expensive and didn't cover much. Am thinking I might have to do the same with Handsome Baby and reduce cover dramatically if /when he comes right and put an amount by each month, so effectively 'self insure'.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Oh yes £416 ish as opposed to your £502 ish.

    E and L insurance.

Number 6 is out. DH didn't like it. Number 4 is out...drive is so narrow I would not get the trailer up it's 45° slope.

Number 5 was fabulous...very expensive though.

Gonna kick myself for this because the price will go up but...

Not too dry if you like medium or too sweet if you like dry. £5 a bottle.

    Hi Al,

    Are you still home brewing?

We are down to about 3- 4 bottles a week (from 7) so feeling like wine is not the major expense at the grocery shop now!

Your link had expired when I clicked so can't see the wine but we pay £2.99 for a nice white in @ldi. It's called Baron St Jean. Someone bought us expensive wine once but it was too woody for me! Much prefer the cheap stuff.

You were up early Al, not sleeping well?
