Work vs school - school is probably much shorter term than work (tho your littlies are quite little, aren't they?) Hmmm. For young teens (and for you in your dotage, bus routes will play a part ...
Good luck with the search tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Its DH's work really. 45 miles and 60-90 minutes each way.
So the first house offered only one thing which was land around it, but I guess #4 reason would be another project to build some more "sweat equity". It did offer that.
Number two
would reduce the mortgage, provide livery and sand school hire potential and be closer to our work, plus sweat equity potential.
Number three offered none except closer to work and so we have discounted it.
Number four tomorrow offers just the land, and closer to school.
Number five tomorrow offers closer to school, land AND a set of potential barn conversions so additional income.

It sounds like you are doing the right thing. With all those motivations for the move, you need to be analytical. Good luck with house number 5"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012
