    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Well thanks all.

    Number one house needed a hundred grand spending on it and is in the wrong place.

    Number two was a bit too communal. Semi with a shared water meter. Fabulous land and outbuildings.

    Number three just didn't have enough land, but great house and location.

    It was ever thus!

    The viewing was 1.30. No feedback so far but they were coming from London and so I guess seeing several.

    Number two house is NOT on a water meter at all. Whoop!

    Viewers didn't like the size of the garden. Boo.

    eta just got my mobile bill down from £26 to £8.

    Seems very sensible to me :)

    Our window cleaner was saying the same this morning.

    eta I am paying £32 per lunar month for insurance on the Plops. Could this be better/cheaper?
