The latest house is going to formal tender in 4 weeks so probably not a runner.0 -
Glad dh is ok, liking your decluttering plans.
When people looked around our last house, I had it in my mind that I was trying to sell a lifestyle. It was definately a house for a couple, so I filled my car, shed and work cupboards with washable nappies, potties etc. What a faff, but worth it!!

Put the plastic toys in the loft and leave the brio train set out.....Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Should I put puppylove in the loft too?0

I nearly bought a house on the basis of the gorgeous dog that lived there. Sadly pulled out of deal when the underground springs were found to be very extensive and the man of the moment couldn't cope.
But not everyone is so daft re the dogs. Maybe puppylove could go for a walk during viewings???
When we looked at our cottage the vendors had the dogs shut in the stable which was actually offputting as the dogs went berserk as both stable doors were shut and they couldn't see out and we couldn't see them.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Last time we sold we took the dog and her basket out with us.

Have saved £30 so far lift sharing with DH.
Crazy horrible stuff going on at work that I can't even comprehend.
But if they treat my colleagues that way, am I next??0 -
Oh dear about the work. But if they start on you, bear in mind that it is the result of their own insecurities. It won't be personal even though it feels like it. From all I have seen, I know that the one thing to hold on to is that you should never feel any loyalty at all to an employer. Get what you can from the job, do your best, and when it stops working for you, leave without a second glance. Because they won't hesitate to show you the door when you no longer fit their plans.
