House prices are endlessly fascinating to me :)

So Liddly was a real stock up shop, ready for back to school? (and work, whisper it ...)

Having done some sums where we could end up with a smaller mortgage and ponyplops in the garden, with possibly some additional income too, I am now super motivated to clean up and declutter.

Why was there so little motivation before?

10 rooms to declutter by half term equals six weeks equals two a weekend with some wiggle room.

    Can our recycle cope?!

I've had fair success with gumtree. Clear pictures and description and price to sell and it is surprising what you can get rid of. *touch wood* I've not had any time wasters yet either.

facebook local selling groups are growing very popular too.

If you have a lot of stuff to donate to charity, many of them will collect from your house to save you a trip.

ected DVT. What a start to the new year. His mobile and mine had flat batteries so no way of finding out his news until he is home. Or not.

Will they admit him for DVT or bung him some Heparin and send him home?

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Being the unsympathetic person I am I ignored his moaning about leg pain until he said it was swollen. He has also been unusually breathless and when I joined the dots I was quite worried. Hopefully I am wrong.
  • Fingers crossed for him. Sorry totally clueless about medical matters.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Pain is a leg infection. Breathlessness is a raised temp/virus.

    phew.
