If anyone has bought this PC, can we get a consensus as to whether the onboard graphics card works with vista?
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

If you didn't upgrade then you must be using the "on board" graphics card, i.e. part of the motherboard. So in fact you did not even select this card, you were just buying the one recommended. This is definitiely their fault.

It would be like BMW giving you some different options for in-car stereo i.e. cassette/ CD etc. when they knew that the CD player would not work in that model of car.

I've just spoken to them again and they've offered a a 10% discount so I can get a better card or will refund the lot and take it away. Surely, everyone is having this problem?

What card did you upgrade to..the 1300?
I upgraded to that on the last offer before this one and it works fine with Vista.

This will more more than enough for what you want (+ most others apart from gamers and artists that may need a decent graphics card installed) - the chap must be on commision!

Set mine up last night, with just the onboard graphics and Vista works fine. That is Home premium, But I think basic would have even lower requirements. What res are you running at?

This looks like a good deal, I presently have an AMD 64 3800, for gaming. I fancy going for it mainly for the tft monitor. Will this offer any significant increase in performance to my present AMD. By the way i'll add my own graphic card.
