This deal includes no graphics card, its just an on-board one which isn't for gaming purposes. However, if u pay extra, Dell can offer u either a x1300 or 7300 graphics card with this deal.0 -
This machine has on-board graphics which will be OK but won't be able to cope much with any intensive games, or higher screen resolutions. But you can pick up an X1600 graphics card for about £30 at the minute, so won't cost too much to upgrade if you need better graphics quality. And you can get 7600GT cards for about £75 so even that option isn't too bad.do I get the graphics card from dell? built in? Thanks
This Dell PC will be a MUCH better machine, but suggest you go for the XP version if you intend to add anything to it like a graphics card or TV/Sound card unless you are certain that Vista drivers will be available for it.I have had a computer 4 yrs but know very little about the technical side,i desperately need a new one as mine keeps crashing. My present computer is amd Athlon xp3000+2.16GHZ is this one a less or more powerful processer? You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
Does this have pci express slot?0

yes it does, the x1600 is a great buy for this model at only £300

Mine arrived this morning. I have set it up and the monitor flashes on and off every few seconds. After spending best part of an hour onto tech support, they tell me the video card does not support Vista!!!!!!
How the hell can they sell me a computer that doesn't work??????Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -
Seriously????Mine arrived this morning. I have set it up and the monitor flashes on and off every few seconds. After spending best part of an hour onto tech support, they tell me the video card does not support Vista!!!!!!
How the hell can they sell me a computer that doesn't work??????The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -
Mine arrived yesterday, but havent set it up yet. I spent £35 on the graphics card upgrade. Is this the one which is not compatible with Vista??0
