When my brother and SIL got their kitten recently he wanted to call her Hammer as in West Ham Hammers. My SIL said she was sick of football and refused to have a football name.

I suggested Bubbles (;)) She thought it was very pretty and suited the cats personality. TWO weeks later she finally twigged but the cat was already responding so nothing she could do.

She got her own back when my 6ft 3 brother had to take this tiny fluffy kitten called Bubbles to the vets in the middle of Glasgow :rotfl:

She is now Princess Bubs, Bubzilla, Fluff Bubs and Bubbly Boo
First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T

    "Squeaky rodent(s)"
    "The Monster(s)"

Sally: Sally-pally, sal-pal, gorgeous-girl, beautiful, pretty lady etc (she's a Daddy's girl and daddy adores her. Hurrumph)

Bert: Bertie Bassett, Bassett, Bertie Bas-bum, Bertie VAST-bum (he's a bit of a porker), Bertie-boo, Smelly-bert, Sir Farts-a-lot, and Little F*cker when he chases Sally :D

Most of these are down to my mental OH who has nicknames for almost everyone and everything!
You had me at your proper use of "you're".

We have two Lhasa apso dogs. Bear is my girl, she is 6. In fact, Bear isn't even her name, it was originally Brady. Which became Brandy-Bear, then just Bear. My puppy Buddy is just about 9 months, such a handsome wee man! Oh and his full name is Doctor Buddy Love :)

Bear - Bear-Bear, Bear-ness, My girl (like where's my girl, who's my girl) Mummy's girl/Daddy's girl, Stinky Bear.

Buddy - Buddeeeeee, Bud-Bud, Baba, Bud, Handsome man, Mummy's boy/Daddy's boy, wee d!ck (still chewing stuff he shouldn't!), Smelly Puppy, stinky boy, fat puppy, fat boy, Pishy pants (that's a good Scottish word for you lol!)
