Ex-mutt (no longer with us) - generally nothing repeatable on a public forum.
The politer ones included widdlearse, sh!t4brains, TBD (that bloody dog). And on the very rare occasions I was actually talking to her, pudding or beautiful. God knows why because she was neither.

    Of course she was beautiful!!:)

My dog (Rhodesian Ridgeback) is called Jelly, but OH thought she should have a 'proper' name so her full title is Anjelica (Jelly) but also gets shortened to Jells. The kennels etc call her Jellytots, jellybaby and jellyfish - all of which the daft sod responds to!

You little Sh*t is a frequent one with Bob as well actually ;)

We always said with Jack he'd have gone off with anyone because as you say nat, he'd respond to anything as well.
  • Our dog died in 2006, his name was Rocky but I used to call him Mr Minx - can't remember why now, but I miss him so much every day.

BIL's dog is called Groucho, when I see him I call him Grouch, or Grouchy.

Millie = Mills, Milster, Milliepops and Black'un (shes mainly black).

Lucy = Luce, Cif (we used to call her Lucifer when she was a pup as she was so naughty but she's outgrown it now so have shortened it) and Ginge. (Shes a bleinhem and has ginger ears).

I use their nicknames more than their given names!

    Dogs:
Hetty: Hetty-Boola-Boola, Boola, Boo or Boolicious
    Bagga: Bagga-Bones, Bags or Bonios

    Cats:
    Serendipity: Dippy, Dips, Dippy-Dippy-Doo-Dah
    Gnawer: Gnawer-Bones
Moaner: Moaner-Boner, Splodge (she's big boned!), Splodgekins-cake-angle-with-wings (that ones a long story......)

All also respond to the opening of a crisp packet or the draw where the treats live :)
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

Poppy gets called Popsicle. Or Poppy May if she is naughty (her full name)

Alvin is called sh1tbag a lot because he is very naughty, or Alvin Francis if he is being told off.
