Why not just use a 'normal' comparison site and switch yourself , I would much rather be in control than rely on a 3rd party.0
-
Just got an email saying the switch is complete. I guess they monitor this thread...
I wonder how they know when a switch is complete aside from people posting in this thread though.0 -
Why is my switching application is still listed as "active" even though it completed nearly 3 months ago and I also have the cashback already? My electricity tariff is now out of date, but the site won't let me change it or do a comparison right now because of this "active" application.
I have exactly the same problem, anybody watching?0 -
you lucky to even get the cashback still waiting for mynDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Switched my own electricity and gas to Scottish Power 4 weeks ago and switch going ahead ok. No problems.
Switched my in laws to Scottish Power last week, having spent a year telling them how much they could save. They have got a letter from Scottish Power today quoting Electricity usage £1200.00 and Gas usage £2300.00. Something clearly wrong with the figues the Cheap Energy Club transferred to Scottish Power or what Scottish Power input.
Have told my in laws to call Scottish Power and give them the kwh figure used.
I would be interested to know how the error occured.0 -

How do people contact CEC? No contact details on the CEC pages.0

Has anyone here actually received the 'hotel' voucher promised when I signed up to switch from Atlantic to NPower?0
-
Hooray!!!! Just over five months after switching and over 20 emails exchanged with CEC trying to get my cashback, I have finally received a cheque for £30. Persistence paid off in the end, but I am disappointed at the poor service provided by CEC.0

Does the Cheap Energy Club not register that you've used it to switch? I keep getting emails which imply that it doesn't...
TBH next time I think I'll use a regular comparison site, I haven't felt very comfortable about the whole thing this time.0
