Then you wouldn't keep your account for very long then. I refund if an item has gone as large letter instead of packet.

11 years this month! I don't mean this callously, but I suspect others are the same. The last time I did a big listing day, I went to the post office, dumped all the parcels and paid the final bill. I have no idea what each item cost to post, I charged the same for all of them. I didn't then go home and charge those I undercharged more, and refund those I overcharged You win some, you lose some. Who has the time?

    Errm - didn't i say it was.

I spent Christmas day in 2 hosptals visiting intensive care.

Luckily you didnt email me that day - or you would have got it both barrels for being a nasty little scammer.

You agreed a price - and you are trying it on.

Why am I a nasty little scammer? What am I 'trying on'

I haven't asked the seller for any refund, have I? I've not pretended I didn't receive the item?

I doubt you do 'give your buyers both barrels' - if you called a genuine buyer like me a 'nasty little scammer' then you would be looking at bad feedback.

Crikey- all I did was post on here about objecting to being overcharged on postage!

You said you DID ask the buyer for a refund!!!!! Because he wouldn't you trashed his feedback.

You were not overcharged - you were charged the price stated!!!!

Oh, and i didn't say you were one - just that in the perspective of the events at the time - someone petty can just push you over the edge. Life is too short.

When did I say I asked for a refund? You are putting words in my mouth. I said 'I queried this with the seller'

For your reference, this was my message.
    Hi there

Recieved the top today and I love it, many thanks.

I just wanted to make sure that the postage was definitely supposed to be £3.50 as it arrived in a paper envelope with £1.20 stamp on it. Thought there might have been an error.

    Thanks

You did call me a nasty little scammer. I quoted you!
  • According to some, buying a dvd on ebay

    1.99 + 0.99 postage = good value

    0.99 + 1.99 postage = bad value

    :p

Once agin you just dont get it - i was pointing out that people don't need this crap when they might have more serious crap to deal with. I am not surprised you don't get it though.

You are now saying you didn't want a refund you just wanted to moan at the seller and trash his stars - and then come and rant on here. Are you that bored?

To the buyer, it really should make no difference. To the seller however, it is a 15p listing fee plus 10p extra FVF. So that's from £1.70 profit, say, to £1.45. That's quite a %!!!

Whatever. I'll see you all moaning on the eBay forums that you have been banned due to postage charges.

I forgot that people are not allowed to disagree with the majority.
