Forgot to say, this is supposed to be a day of complete rest, but I'll be heading out to pick rose hips and the blackberries on this side of the river in about half an hour or so. I also have plum pulp (from free plums!), red kidney beans, and some Mexican chilli to can today. I also still have a half gallon of plum pulp that I need to remove the plum stones from before I can jar it up. I really don't know how to rest huh? :p

I might even sneak down to the park and see if there are still any raspberries ripe down there. :o

Hi Tia and thanks - we're off to the Algarve for 11 nights all inclusive - can't wait. Haven't had a holiday abroad for longer than 7 nights in over 10 years (apart from our honeymoon in 2009 but that was 10 nights in 3 different countries so lots of travelling). Everything we've been told about Portugal suggests it's going to be fantastic.

Very warm welcome Mary - we're a friendly bunch here, hope your stay is short and sweet .

Claretsgirl - so sorry to hear about the job situation - really hope something comes along very soon. We had a similar problem with HB in 2010 - was made redundant and took a job working for Lord Sugar - worst job and company he'd ever had but something good came of it, he got out and into another company where he loved it but then he was head hunted - and is now working in a fantastic company with great people and a pay rise. Good things happen to those who wait - I truly believe in karma

AFM - currently on CD4 and AF is fading away thankfully - guess I'll start testing on the CBFM in a few days.

We're having a street party tonight. Have had one for the last 2 years and closed the road off (for the Royal Wedding & Diamond Jubilee). This year we're not closing the road off but we're all getting together on the green and having a BBQ and a good old catch up - we have fantastic neighbours!

    Love and hugs - it's Friday! :j

    Morning all

Currently on CD14, I got a peak on my OPK yesterday (CD13) so does that mean im 0 DPO?

We BD last night, going to pin him down again tonight ;)

We're going away for the weekend so will get to BD tomorrow night as well :o

Is 3 nights in a row too much? As I've read every other day is better

Also should we have started BD'ing before I got the peak or are we doing ok?

Sorry, as you can tell this is our first month trying xx
  • Chelsea Blue - apparently every night doesn't matter.... they just say every other day if you are trying to hit ovulation etc without tracking it. Id go for it if I had the opportunity!!

Gelly - sounds like you have a lovely day planned - I love street parties :)

Brightening up here now - so going to take the children out for the afternoon, picnic and park.

Gelly holiday sounds fab, not had any break for over 5 years now and no honeymoon either.

Sophiasmum I to find ov testing quite stressful even more so if you don't think you are ov.

So far so good with the scan and injections, got to wait a few weeks to see if I will ov.

So went to see the doc yesterday as not been feeling great for a while now and despite all my exercise and better eating I have not lost weight and my shape hasn't changed . My Doc thinks that my Thyroid is playing up :( so now I have to have blood test next week to see what is happening :( if it is playing up that this may explain the 3 MC's I have had :( ................
If you can think it........it will happen

After mine I had my thyroid tested as they are doing a trial into problems with this and miscarriage - hope you get the test soon.

Mrs TM - do you ever do days of rest?! You always sound so busy doing lots of lovely homely stuff

Gelly - your holiday sounds fab, hope you have a lovely time. It sounds nice that you have good neighbours where you live, a street party sounds great

Chelseablue - I would probably do 3 nights in a row...I think advice varies depending on who you speak to/what you read

Part Mouse - glad the scan went ok, fingers crossed you ovulate this month

Tink - massive hugs :( hope the thyroid tests go ok and you can get answers
