CD1 for me today. Slightly early, 2 periods in one month. Hope of me getting pregnant by end of year is fading fast.

Hello! Thankyou for the warm welcome! We have a five year old son who is keen for a sibling. We had a miscarriage in June 2010 and I miscarried in 2002 aswell. Lomg story short (its very upsetting and I dont like to go into it much) but I have fertility issues stemming from a forced abortion in 2006 - I was pressured by my ex to abort and was adamant that I was keeping, the Dr went ahead anyway and it has haunted me ever since. We are hoping that everything will be ok but I'm quietly very nerbous - I hav ent been on the pill since April and have not concieved yet

I am really looking forward to joining you ladies on this journey x

Afm - nearly the end of the summer holidays so pleased about that my DS is getting bored. He is off into year five so not long to go and he will be in secondry.

Got a day alone today so going to batg our dogs. We have an 11 year old dachsund and a 10 week old Springer Spaniel. Keeps us busy!

I still have a cold, but at least I can breathe from one nostril now! I was so doped up on medication last night that I slept fairly well thankfully. If this crud isn't gone by next Thursday I'll be off to the doctor. Hopefully it will be gone long before that.

Being sick is putting a real damper on any bd'ing that we might have been able to do this cycle.

TMI - I thought I showed signs of ov yesterday (cm) so text DH (How modern!!) to tell him I thought it was a smiley face day and to prepare himself!!! Got home from work - did a test and still blank...Didn't tell dh and bd anyway......(We did agree to try to bd every other day)Admitted before I went to sleep that I was still waiting on the smiley face!

By my understanding though you can be fertile a couple of days before the ov test goes positive??

TBH - I don't think I like ov testing, too much pressure and too much of a let down if you fail to bd on the correct day) would prefer to just go with the flow but my unpredictable cycles make that impossible for me at the mo.

MRS T-M - sorry you are feeling miserable I HATE colds. Ive been taking effervescent Vit C in an effort to ward them off. x
