CD14 for me. We bd'd on Monday then hubby's away until tonight, so will try & talk him into it tonight & when he gets home in the early hours of Saturday ;) That's if I'm even ovulating.... got my blood tests next week to see. Opk's haven't picked anything up yet. My temp has risen, but it's been 6 days since I last measured it so don't know if it's just a glitch. I think I'm going to have to set my alarm for 6am every day, then maybe I can go back to sleep before dd gets up.

Just putting some more of dd's stuff in the loft - was leaving it out in the hope it wouldn't be worth putting it away, but oh well :(

sticky dust to all & fingers crossed for those in the 2ww xx
  • Catslover when do you go to Vegas? It's where we are going on honeymoon (or part of it) and we are staying at the venetian.

Right an anyone help I'm really confused. I thought I ovulated as I had one dark line and another fairly dark line on the sticks over a week ago. However the last two days I've been errrrmmm 'wet' and felt like ovulation time so today just done a test and got 2 really dark lines. I'm totally confused. Can you ovulate twice in one cycle. I'm due AF in 6 days so can you ovulate this late in a cycle? We Bd Tuesday so really hoping I haven't missed the boat.

    Hope everyone ok?

Thanks everyone, think I am just winding myself up. It is worse than symptom spotting. I was bad enough symptom spotting before I reckon I will be worse now and don't even mention knicker watching lol.

It seems quite a few people are having a pants run of things. Hugs.

Non try for a baby related.........

  • Good afternoon. Hope everyone is ok. ((Hugs)) for Carrot. Hopefully the FS will have some answers for you.
As for me, well I was gearing up for some BDing this weekend which is when I am due to ovulate, only now my OH has returned home from work having lost his job. I don't know what to do. I don't know how we're going to manage now. Should I put it off? I don't want to because of my age.

Yay sam that's great news!!! I would so love to go back to uni. I keep checking the finances to see if it's possible. My theory is that we could afford a baby (kind of!) so surely we can afford for me to do a masters and have no income.... OH needs a bit more persuading lol.

I know we're all different but I don't remember my first AF after the m/c being that bad. Fingers crossed it's all ok for you x.

Well done on the uni acceptance samtoby. Is this a first degree or a post grad?

Tea, I've already done my masters but would love to go back to uni again either to do a phd or a new undergrad degree in a slightly less useless subject. Think I'm a bit burnt out on the IT thing now.

Disney_Pluto this has happened to me a couple of times. It's like your body gears up to ovulate and then for whatever reason doesn't, and then tries again. Get Bd'ing. Alternatively, sometimes opks can work like pregnancy tests, but I'd never advocate testing early :rotfl:

Carrot - I know exactly what you mean. In a way I was relieved that they found something and there was a reason its not happening, but I also felt really rubbish that there was something to find iyswim.

AFM, just feeling a bit sorry for myself. I'm really not getting on well with the new antibiotics and have just had bad stomach cramps and diawoowoo. Is it bad that I'm thinking the diarrhea might be useful in helping lose a bit more weight? The weight loss continues. I've noticed the top I'm wearing today looks a lot looser.

DH has finally picked up the kit for his SA but its a bit of a nightmare. The hospital he has to drop it off at is about 45 minutes away on a good day, but they only accept samples during morning rush hour when it can take forever. DH has considered doing it at the hospital but it's not the most romantic or sexy venue.

I'm pretty sure my OH gets more action at the hospital than he does at home these days! I reckon it's like internal scans for us - the first one freaks you out then before you know it you're happily dropping your pants as soon as you're through the door :o.

Its an FdSc for two years and then if I want to make it up to a full degree it will be another year.
    :)
It is a big step for me as I should of gone at 18 but managed to find myself pregnant and dissapoint the whole family while I was pregnant but then was amazing for having my son when he was here.

I can not wait. I have waited 10 years to utilise my A Levels lol.:D

I totally laughed Tea when you wrote about internal scans. I have had a few and they don't worry me at all now. Its just the result of the scan or indeed what is going on that worries me.

Code - You really are having a run of it. Get better soon.:o

Earlier in the year someone was referring to the girls as something but I can not remember. What was it? So instead of saying the girls were hurting or swollen what was it in replacement? It was quite funny if I remember rightly. :rotfl:

    Hi ladies

Hugs carrot it sounds like you've really been through the wars but hopefully your referral will be a positive step towards getting you where you want to be x

Hugs for feeling carp PM hope you feel better soon x

Sorry you still feel so poorly code its awful when you just cant shake a poorly but I hope you feel well enough to enjoy dubrovnik x

Sorry to hear about your ohs job claretsgirl x

Hooray for getting on your course samtoby I hope you enjoy it x

Also its absolutely totally unfair that 3 of you are going to vegas and I'm not :p

We went to see quite a few show and things while we were there Bex and I assume most of them are still on. I would heartily recommend them all

gregory popovich's comedy pet theatre (cute performing animals)
crazy horse paris (a "topless review" but a very tasteful one and really enjoyable)
Cirque du soleil KA ( I can't recommend this enough it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen)
The startrek experience (not quite a show but a total geek fest and great fun)
Tournament of Kings (medieval banquet and jousting so much fun)
The pirate show at treasure Island hotel (my dh nicknamed it the pirates of mens pants) is free and quite good fun
Siegfried and Roys secret garden and dolphin habitat was awesome (the baby dolphin made me cry I'm so sappy!)

If you can find a tix4less or tix4tonight place you can get big discounts on some of the show tickets.

Whatever you do you'll have fun its a great place!

    hugs to all x
