Hi ladies, sorry i've been MIA ! Got the in-laws here ... it's going ok.... ish.

I went to the acupuncturist on friday which if my calculations are correct was 1DPO. He sounded really positive and said that my body and spirit were baby-ready. When i complained that i hadn't fallen pregnant since my last appointment with him he said it was normal as he'd only been able to do half the work he wanted (money grabber lol!). At the end of the session he took my pulse in both arms and said "everything is perfect, you'll have a baby within 3months" !! Now I know anyone could say that, but still made me feel very excited ! A little bit of positive thinking can't do any harm can it. As he's also a doctor he gave me a prescription for OH to do a spermogramme too to put my mind at rest, OH is really not keen but says he'll do it if nothing happens this cycle. Hopefully things will just happen naturally within a few months.

    Sorry for blabbing on !

Lots of love to you all, i'll have to catch up with all your news another time, need to entertain the in-laws :)

Samtoby - my first AF after my MC which a bit heavier, a day or 2 longer & I had a few more cramps / pains than usual.
But if we can get through a MC & come out the other side, a nasty AF won't kill us!
Bearing in mind, I'm the one who sobbed & cried like a baby getting the day 21 blood tests (first time ever giving blood!) and 3 months later I was on a drip & had blood tests one after the other! Your first AF won't be that bad - I promise :D

Hello Mrs TM did I read that it was greenbelt you went to? We usually go there. Hope you had fun!

It was Greenbelt! I had an absolute blast, but I'm completely knackered as well. Stewarding = awesome + free entry to the festival + free foods!

samtoby - my first af wasn't too bad but psychologically I didn't like seeing the blood (iykwim)....I dreaded it too.
Hope yours is ok (or doesn't appear as you are pregnant!) x

    Hi ladies

nice to see you back mrs t m x

Glad the injection wasnt as bad as you feared pm x

I can't remember who asked about agnus castus but I take it and have found it helpful in extending my lp.

Samtoby I found that af was unusually light after both my mc (both were early and natural) so maybe I'm just a bit weird? As Sophiasmum mentioned it is a bit of a blow psychologically but hopefully it won't show x

I can't remember anything else I wanted to say so general hugs to all x
  • Hope you had a great time at the festival MrsTm! Thanks for doing the lists....I've realised it's not as easy as it looks! :o

Afm this 2ww is going sooooo slowly! I'm 5dpo and already fighting the irrationally stupid desire to poas. Ridiculous as even if this is our lucky month, I doubt implantation would even have happened yet!

I really am pinning a lot of hope on this month as we BD'd LOADS at the right times and we'll be reaching our 1 year TTC anniversary in a few weeks with not a sniff of a TLP.

I think I'll allow myself to poas on Saturday morning but that is still too early really! :o

On the plus side, vegas trip coming up soon so if I'm not lucky enough to get my BFP then at least I can get very drunk and go clubbing! :T

    Hi all

Have just got back from holiday. A bit disappointed as I need to be updated to CD1 today - was really hoping it was my month so have felt really down today about AF arrival. I got carried away symptom spotting and even had my boyfriend doing it too e.g. saying I was more tired than usual. Feel like this was the first month I was in with a chance in a long time (despite never changing the list on here to having ovulated).

Will try and catch up with some of the news on here - hugs to those in need of them x

Oh bex I'm so jealous vegas is like disneyland for adults! DH and I got married there 5 years ago and we had an amazing time. which hotel are you staying at if you don't mind me being nosy? It's so great going round all the different hotels and seeing what they're all like and the shows are incredible!

Thanx I'm super excited! It's kind of a like a honeymoon (as we didn't get to have any time off after our wedding) so I chose the venetian hotel cos it looked fun (and romantic ish). We also go a special offer on it too :D it'll also be my 30th whilst we are there too! Looking forward to seeing some shows - I wanted to see peepshow but it ends in a few weeks so we miss it! Not sure which ones to try and go to... Any tips? X

Anyway, hope all are well. Gotta rush off this morning as got a long commute today :(
