  • Lol made me laugh tea. I don't literally mean in the bathroom just in the house when you test? Other half thinks I shouldn't test if he's not home.

    Hugs to CD1 girls.

I think I'm on my last day so now just got to wait for OV now.

Right, I've solved the "how to kill your other half" dilemma.

All you have to do is bring him to a spin class.

My DH is pretty fit and very skinny, years ago he used to come along for a few miles when I was doing marathon training and would do the odd 5k race with me and even a 10k once with no training whatsoever. But he looked and felt like he was going to die. I think he has a newfound respect for me :D

Anyway I no longer want to kill him because he bought me another vintage perfume bottle to go with the first one, plus about eight different cookie cutters shaped like things like a teapot and a frog. Bless him :D

    Evening ladies :)

Big hugs for everyone who is feeling rubbish at the moment, especially Pomme & Chocoholic. Just because other people have been trying longer than you, doesn't make your pain/upset any less real xxx

We should get our sperm analysis results tomorrow hopefully. I'm a little nervous and I think hubby is a little worried as he has this stupid manly ego that makes him think that he has to have "super sperm". Men!

Had a phone call about my interview today. Apparently the interviewers gave good feedback about me and will be making their decision next week. I might have to go back for a second interview. Even if i get it, im still not sure if its a good idea to move jobs as my maternity package is currently amazing because I have been with my company so long (6 months full pay, 3 months statutory followed by 3 months no pay). Bleurgh! Why can't we just become pregnant on demand and once you are pregnant you are guaranteed a beautiful healthy baby in exactly 9 months! That would be perfect!

Congrats Debs for your BFP! :T

Hi, I've been debating posting for a couple of days, been lurking for a little longer...coz, you see, technically I'm not ttc yet, my implant is being removed September 4th. However, since that gives me about a month, and I get a little ( ok a lot) obsessive about things, I'm wondering if there's any prep I can do with regards to...well anything I guess. Any thoughts?

Congrats on the BFPs debs and Katy, hugs and buns for those who want them, and please tell me to push off if I'm being too preemptive.

welcome ashia. If you haven't already, you should begin taking folic acid, as ideally you should take that 3 months before conception. You could also begin to think about what tactics you want to use initially e.g. Not trying not preventing (NTNP), BDing every 2 days through your cycle, using ovulation tests (opks) to predict ovulation, temping and so on. Get yourself a tracking app for your period as it might take a couple of months for your period to settle back into a routine (forget what you learned in health class- most women do not have a 28 day cycle with ovulation on day 14) fertility friend is good, as is womanlog and I'm sure someone can advise you on apps for the iphone. Finally, prepare yourself for it not happening straight away - its normal to take a year. Obviously I hope you're one of the luck
