  • 13 dpo today and temp is still slowly dropping. Horrible BFN on ic so assume AF will be here tomorrow- none of the cramps I had last month though. Fx the witch doesn't catch you firefly- I have to get to 18 dpo for FF testing day which seems impossible!

Spent the whole night awake thinking horrible thoughts so am totally knackered and cranky now! Never mind- only another 23 to 30 days before we can try again... FML.

I think I'm going to spend today looking for our honeymoon- I'm tired of putting off booking things just in case I'm pregnant. It's clearly not going to happen so I need to stop putting my life on hold.

  • Claire I got married in November last year and have been putting off booking a honeymoon because I was convinced that I'd get pregnant and wouldn't be able to fly... pahahaha....

Trina I think I'd rather spend that insurance money on cocktails somewhere exotic.... lol. :)

I also thought that we should save the money for kids- think it'll be sat in my bank account til I die if that's what I'm waiting for though...

Ah I see! Yes last Jan we booked to go to Hawaii in October so then because of that and my new job we didnt start up ttcing again until August.

For me now Im just booking stuff fairly last minute. Im not worried about being pregnant per say, just that last time I had such bad morning sickness!

So Im still planning holidays, just booking them less in advance!
  • Fannyanna, huge hugs, I could have written the same as your post (apart from crying in bosses office as I'm still looking for a job) and know how you feel. I know so many pregnant people at the mo and it's making me so upset.

Abis - so happy kitty is home and lucky your friend spotted the photo on facebook.
I get married next January but oh has just had a bonus at work so he's wanting to pay for everything now, so photographer done yesterday, venue and couple of other bits today.
Then I need to start dress shopping. And I'm also trying to make excuses to why my sister doesn't want to be bridesmaid now without telling anyone its because she's pregnant again....

Tea book the honeymoon! Me and DH are going on our big honeymoon in April for our second anniversary- NYC baby! I figured when I booked it that if I was pregnant when I went then I'd just sit down more, plus if anything bad was to happen then I'd only be away four days and I know what to expect and if it went badly wrong then I'd be in an English speaking country near hospitals x x

why cant she be bridesmaid if the wedding isnt for 11 months as she will have had the baby by then?

Teamlowe - youre right plus the flight isn't too long to nyc so youll be fine. Id much rather end up in a hospital in the US than say turkey or somewhere like that!
  • Think we might just get some cheap budget flights to Italy and bum around for a couple of weeks. It's OH favourite country (he thinks he's secretly Italian and it's where we had our first holiday together). It's not terribly exotic though but I think with me being the only earner at the moment it's the furthest we can get without bankrupting ourselves! We quite fancy Florence, Siena, Naples and Capri... Now to organise the bug ger... :)
