Chuffed for you Becca - that is great news!
And congrats to Lemon - fingers crossed for you!
Glad Abis kitty is back as well! We have two cats from rescue and one of them went missing on the day we had them (forgot to close off the cat flap doh!). After searching the streets for 2 days we eventually found her between two fences in the back garden. She was fine, but it was a right struggle getting her out!
AFM I am ticking off the days until Monday when its my first day testing using the CBFM. Am trying not to get my hopes up or I'll get obsessive!!!!0 -
Code - I hate the hormones right before af too (which is today). Have cramps, headache, feel soooo tired and I am hoovering up any carbs in the house. Once af arrives it just goes away again and I am normal.
Becca - So glad that you appointment went well and now you have a plan. Always like a good plan.;) Good luck with the clomid. TL and I will be joining you in a few weeks:D
Abis - Yay for Kitty returning:j I've had all my dogs & horses microchipped, well worth the money.
TCD - How are you feeling today?
Mrs T_M - Can I have some of your energy please. It is a lovely sunny day here (for once) but I feel like I have lead in my shoes.
Has BZ got cd1 yet? Did I miss it?
Hugs to all who need them today.0 -
Lol at all the blood sample testimonials !! Before i became a nurse i used to hate having blood taken too ! On my ward it's mostly old people who have rubbish veins which roll around, i'd love to get my hands on some of your lovely young veins :rotfl:0

Lemonmelon – many congratulations :j :j :j
amy_85 – hugs for the CD1 and take make sure you dose up and drink plenty with regards to the cold. I hate getting a cold as it really makes you feel rough so you have my sympathy.
Amy – that’s annoying about the unexpected MMR.
Elsie37 – hugs for CD1.
Codemonkey – sorry you’re feeling so fed up.
Becca – woohoo on the ov front :T Fingers crossed for you.
Abis – glad your kitty is back. Mine went missing when it snowed a few weeks ago and it was a horrible feeling.
AFM – I’m on a complete downer at the moment. If I’m honest I’ve been feeling a bit wobbly for nearly two weeks now. The annoying thing is that I’ve been feeling good and thinking positively since the beginning of the year and had really noticed a difference. But the bubble has now popped and I was in tears last night, this morning and just snuck into my bosses office to have another little cry (he’s not in today otherwise it would have been a bit awkward lol).
I generally feel like a complete failure at the moment. My body doesn’t work properly so I can’t get pregnant. Everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant at the drop of the hat and it just seems so unfair. I saw my bestfriend and her baby a few weeks ago and her parents were clearly over the moon with having a baby in the family. Seeing them interact with the baby and their faces completely light up just broke my heart. I desperately want to experience that.
I’m also really struggling with my weight loss attempts and don’t actually believe that I’ll be able to lose the weight (I know negative thinking doesn’t help at all but I just can’t seem to shake it). Then at work I’ve just been with all the slim, beautiful women and felt so out of place and basically like a big trampy heffalump. Which makes me want to eat to comfort myself – but I can’t because I’m trying to lose weight to have a baby.
I’m sorry – I know most people have real problems to deal with but I’m just so frustrated that I’m back to feeling like pants again. Self indulgent rant over!0 -

Let this be a lesson to men everywhere - if they wander then off with the nuts!0 -
And I'm now down again. One of DH's family members posted to one of my things over on FB and, even though she didn't mean it like this, it made me feel stupid and like I don't deserve to be in the UK. There are language differences between here and the US, but I really do not like having them thrown in my face, especially not by a family member! I cannot just wipe out and replace 27 years worth of knowledge and language and replace it at the drop of a hat.
Guess the good news is that I can still have wine, and we have half a bottle left. We are also having pizza and ice cream for dinner/dessert, although with how I'm now feeling, that won't be enough. I decided to not worry about how I eat until after I go see the GP on Monday morning about my weight and depression.0 -
Evening ladies. Away for the weekend but thought I'd update to say im pretty positive I've got a +OPK test today which is CD17 and also got a + on CD17 last month so im hoping that means im getting to know my cycles and they're regular! Also explains the massive temp drop, even though FF doesn't seem to like most of the temps I'm inputting :rotfl: I think what doesn't help is I'm a terrible sleeper, there's just no way I can take it after 3 hours of sleep as I wake up all the time through the night so I doubt I ever have a block of 3 hours where I'm asleep!

Thats a positive chocoholic chick! If youre putting in temps roughly at the same time of day hopefully youll still get a temp rise after ovulation so it should still show a difference.0

Thanks for asking firefly. I feel a bit deflated to be honest. Was terrified for scan this morning (to the point of wanting to vomit) and have come out of it more confused than I went in. They had to do an internal again and she was asking me all of the questions that the last one did- when did you ov? what CD are you on? etc. so that got my hopes up that she'd seen a sac like they did on last one but she didn't say anything (not even confirm ov) other than my ovaries don't look poly-cystic and that the report will go back to consultant. I daren't take a test (AF due Sunday I think) as I can't handle the fall out from a BFP.
I don't know if that means Clomid is off the agenda now or not. I'm not sure if it's worse that they look normal as if they're *fine* looking then why the hell haven't I had a sniff of a BFP in 22 months.... . My appointment isn't until sodding May and she went AWOL while I was getting dressed so couldn't ask any questions as she'd gone by the time I emerged from the loo. Went back to work for a training day and my mat leave colleague was in so had a good ole grope of her bump to try and steal her pregnancy luck... she won't need it soon as she's due next week
Is it normal for them to ask for CD/ ov in ultrasound scans? Has anyone had one recently where they've asked? Why did she look so enigmatic. I hate this!
Code. I always feel like that towards the end of my cycle. I think it's because I know that it's the start of another month where I've failed. I never used to be that hormonal (PMS type thing- I never got it). I think for me it's the abject disappointment...
Mrs TM. I *love* that Eddie Izzard sketch and I love tea and cake (especially over death....)- glad my name reminds you of it.
Becca fx the Clomid works a treat for you. I'll be watching you like a hawk now to see what is happening with you... maybe my GP will give me it before May....
I work with blood (and other bits and bobs) so luckily it doesn't bother me- I too am a sicko who is fascinated by watching the needle when it goes in.
Hugs to all those who CD1 got/ MMR got and welcome to all of the newbies- may your time here be short (but not shorter than mine... :rotfl: - only messing- I'll take BFP !!!!!! wherever I can get it!)
Apologies for anyone I miss out- I'm not a pro at remembering everyone like Amyloofoo is- I will try to get better!0
