Sorry, forgot to say from the depths of my pity, good luck today becca.

Hugs for the cd1 girls (I'll be with you in 3-4 days)

Anyway dragged myself out of bed, put on my big girl panties and a fake smile and am at work pretending to be normal.

Hugs for you all. I'm so grateful for you support and want you all to get BFPs as soon as possible.

I know that I hardly ever get a chance to reply to everyone individually, but I want each and every one of you to know that I do read every post here and follow you through your struggles and your triumphs. There is no way that I could ever say this enough, but thank you to each and every one of you. For being there when we need a place to vent, to help us celebrate our victories, to understand us when we are down, and most of all for your support of all of us.

Code i really do think it's hormonal, with my long cycles i hardly ever feel really really down about it all, but i can garuntee i will at the end of the 2ww, i feel better on cd1 oddly, clearly progesterone is a hell of a thing
and that's not to dismiss how you're feeling at all, it is all so very horrid.

Mrs TM that's lovely, you are lovely :)

re:needle talk, i'm ok with them but i have hard veins to find. i find it better to go to the phlebotomy clinic as they're much more adept at it as it's all they do all day long! when i was having my bloods taken for the mmc treatment it took three different nurses! i'm there bawling my eyes out and they're poking me in the arm, and of course they clearly had a double checking policy as every one that came in to try had to ask my name and date of birth. stoopid veins x

I'm not too bothered about needles either Code :o I've got super awkward veins, last time the Dr tried to take blood she had a good dig in both arms making them turn bright red and had to give up once I started to whimper that it was getting uncomfortable! Had to go back 2 days later see the nurse! Still didn't really bother me though. :) Oh and claire, I was that weird girl who'd watch the needle go in when we were having injections! :rotfl: I remember getting my meningitis vaccination and being freaked out because some of the vaccine came back out when the nurse took the needle out! :p

Credit- how on earth have you gotten to this age and not had blood taken BTW?! You must be the world's healthiest person to never need to be tested for something! :)

Hugs for CD1 Amy, Vic and Elsie :(

Thinking of you today Becca :)

Hope the kitty comes home today Abi. :o

Big hugs for succumbing to the major grumps today Code. Its no help, but I know how you feel. :o

Hope everyone had a nice Valentine's day. :) OH was working in the evening but he made me a special lunch - my normal lunchtime sandwich served on a heart shaped plate! :rotfl: We don't really bother with V-day any more though as it's our wedding anniversary on the 18th so we go all out for that instead. :) Got Monday and Tuesday off work to do lots of eating, drinking and having fun together! Shame it's not OV time! ;)

So you are another crazy person who likes to look at needles :rotfl: why?! Lol that's good though you don't mind because when you get pregnant the amount you need...

I'd never had a blood until my booking in appt in November - just never been needed to be tested for anything I guess but in some ways it makes it worse as then it means you have years & years to build up the fear!

I'm lucky in that although I don't like it atleast I'm easy to get blood from, I think if they had a problem then I would freak out a bit and that's what could make me feel faint.

Ugh yes I'm glad they double check but when several people ask you why you are there & what operation you're having & you have to keep saying miscarriage you'd rather at that time they didn't need to!!

it was easier for me in a way as it was medical management it was all done on the EPU ward so i could just say 'medical management' and not the m word.
what made me laugh in a 'laugh or you'll cry' moment was when you take the first pill, you have to stay on the ward for twenty minutes so they can make sure you don't throw it back up. so you ask, what happens if you do throw it up? and they say 'nothing cos we can't give it you again'.
so you sit for 20 minutes watching Homes under the Hammer then toddle out. ridiculous

btw can't remember who recommended it but thanks for the inositil suggestion, it seems to be making a difference to my weight! not much but slow and steady downwards. course, this could be cos i've been to the gym for weights twice this week as well, but still. i'm a great believer in a good strong placebo affect lol x

Gosh, I've been having blood tests for all sorts since I was about 13 (I was a fainty teen and they couldn't figure out why! :o). I used to give blood too but stopped because they struggled to find my veins so much and I'd get a bit woozy afterwards and it wasn't exactly safe for me to drive home in that state! :p
