hugs abis. You can join me in the starting blocks, although I have a suspicion that I'll still be there listening in vain for the starters pistol while you've crossed the finish line. I am honestly feeling like this is never going to happen for me. Hope your kitten will be home soon.

Don't worry about the blood tests. Am I the only person in here completely unaffected by needles? I sit and chat with the nurse while she does it and I have really deep veins so they have to dig around a bit.

Nothing even slightly romantic here today. DH has been stomping around complaining about having to buy me stuff for my birthday. Did have a Chinese for dinner though which was yummy.

  • Hi there - re blood tests, I was terrified of them. I've always had to ask to lie down in case I faint and each time I say "I'm not being rude but I need to look in the opposite direction to the needle" and twist my head right round so that there's no way I could accidentally catch sight of it :)

When I was pregnant I was high risk and had to have blood tests every 4 weeks so I'm used to them now - but being used to them doesn't necessarily make me any less squeamish!

I'm sure you'll be OK, especially if you tell them how worried you are.

    Good luck.

    .

youre much politer than me :rotfl:I say ' I need to lie down or I might faint, then put my hand over my eyes turn my head, and breathe in and out very loudly, and probably squeak when the needle goes in lol!

Im a nightmare patient! I am a bit better now though :)

One of my friends used to actually watch the needle when we had injections at school
  • Becca - good luck tomorrow, will be thinking of you

Oh Code, theres so many of yous that I want to cross the finish line with :o I wish we could all graduate, specially the old timers as I have affectionately named ourselves :o:o

Apple - I so hope so :( I am very worried about him. I know cats come back, but its so scary letting them go. Have sent the big cat out to keep an eye on him :o:o:o DH says if he hears him in the night he will go fetch him. When are you getting married?

I look away for blood tests / giving blood. I'm fine as long as I don't watch it go in. My best friend is absolutely terrified tho, she won't go to the dentist in case she has to have an injection. It must be hard to be so scared :o:(

    :j:j CONGRATULATIONS LEMONMELON!! :j:j

What a lovely Valentines gift for you xx

TL sorry to hear your car (and the other!) are going to be expensive to fix. How's the house going?

Code - thanks. DH already thinks I've lost it but so what?! Your posts always make me smile, you have such a way with words. Love that your poo will smell of gingerbread - highlight of my day! Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit grumpy though - love to you xx

January sorry I missed you out, didn't mean to - am updating the lists after long days renovating the house so my tired eyes don't always see everything! Apologies x

Optimistic mummy, have you tested again?

Have we heard from Razwaz or iloveholidays lately? They are quite far past ov!

giarora, welcome. When I had normal cycles, I usually started testing at around CD10. I test anytime from 2-6pm. Would you like adding to the list?

skint I agree with BZ and would trust your own knowledge of your body more than OPKs (says she who has never managed to actually get pregnant, so may not be a reliable source ;))

abis, thank you for thinking of me. I am OK. Just so fed up now. Hope you ov soon and your cycles get back to normal xxx

Sorry for CD1 Lara, hugs to you. Like the others have said, at least it didn't go on forever but it's still not nice xx

Welcome sjlou. Would you like adding to the list?

BZ Happy Valentines Day to you too xx

AFM - Positive OPK today! What's that about on CD84?! Also absolutely terrified about my appointment tomorrow, I'm making myself feel sick with nerves. I know that is ridiculous but it's just such a big deal. Even though I don't expect much from it, it just makes me sad we've got to this point. But onwards and upwards!

What are all you lovely ladies doing for Valentines? :heartsmil
Thanks Becca, yes please add me to the list.

I' currently CD12 waiting for Ov. BDing ever 2-3 days.

    Congratulations lemonmelon! :j
Hope everything goes text book for you this time :D

Can't remember anything else I was gonna reply to now :o if anyone asked me something they're gonna have to repeat the question :p:o

there was people's stuff I was gonna respond to too, but that's all gone out my head too :o

Good luck with the appointment Becca. Try not to work yourself up about it too much, I found ours a massive anticlimax, especially after the build up I'd given it in my head :o

Don't have much time before work so haven't read back (sorry about missing anything) but CONGRATULATIONS lemonmelon! :j :j :j :j :j

Afm, I'm currently spotting so expect AF imminently. We'll be using condoms this month as work's occupational health sprung an unexpected MMR vaccination on me and TTCing isn't recommended for a month afterwards. I had to do a test yesterday before the injection - BFN as expected.

    Hope you're all well
