Morning all, 6/7dpo - so nothing much to report.

Loving the weather at weekends , not so much during working hours as air con on/off gets annoying after a while and I'm sure this is why my throat feels raspy too.

Good luck to all with appointments today and hope everyone has a good day xx

    Morning all,

Been AWOL enjoying the sunshine and not thinking about TTC for the weekend! Hope you are all ok, sounds like some tough times are about.

Angel - totally agree with BigZippy re upping "fluid" generally for your OH at the moment

Code - don't have any sensible suggestions I'm afraid but sorry your cycle is so rubbish. Hope you get a doctor that takes your seriously.

    Good luck Lannie!

Afm, was going to buy tests at lunchtime and test today (am pretty sure the trial CBFM would make me test tomorrow anyway), but have some cramping so think AF may well be on her way. Drat. :(

    Morning Ladies

Not really much news here. At Cd1 I pressed the m button on my cbfm. On Cd6 I turned it on expecting it to ask for a stick but it was still on Cd5 for some reason. Thought I'd just done it wrong so turned it on the next day and it was on Cd6 but showing a low and not asking for a stick. I reset it with the m button to Cd5 yesterday and when i turned it on this morning it was back to normal showing Cd6 and asking for a stick which I gave it although I am actually Cd8 - do you think this will affect the results in any way because it tests for the hormone so if it's present it will surely tell me regardless of Cd? Last cycle I didn't keep feeding the machine until peak because it was just constantly showing high and I felt like I'd ov'd and felt like i was wasting sticks so just stopped feeding it - has this broken it somehow?

Anyway it doesn't really matter much this month as I'm going away for the weekend without my OH. We can bd before I go on Cd11 and whilst i know sperm stays alive for a while i'm not convince that'll do it - we've been dtd at the right time and frequently for months and it hasn't done it so i doubt this month will be our month.

Hugs for all that need them and fingers crossed for those that are waiting for good news.

angeltreats - so sorry that your OH's SA results weren't what you wanted to hear. You've had some great advice from the other ladies, just wanted to send my hugs too.

We have various male factor issues - very low count, low motility, poor morphology etc. Basically if it can go wrong, it has! However, what I wanted to say was even then, if there's something in the samples then there's still hope. Male test results can vary a LOT, a lot more than ours tend to. So if this is your first test, please don't panic (easier said than done I know sweetie). Do you have another test planned? As others have suggested - lots and lots of fluids, vitamins etc. You might see a really good result next time.

We had ICSI, and even with a really low sample again we still produced 4 embryos. Ok, things didn't work out for us this time but I'm still taking that as a good sign, iyswim.

Obviously I will have my fingers tightly crossed that you don't need IVF, but if you do, a low count really isn't a barrier to success.

Oh, and definitely feel free to let it all out! Any test results that aren't what you're expecting can be horrible, and difficult to take in. But that initial panic WILL subside, it really will, and then we'll all be here to help/hold your hand with whatever plan you decide on next.

    Take care xx.
