At the time I was 17 and nothing was ever said about fertility being damaged, spent 2 weeks in hosp. I'n the last 13 years have been ntnp with no sniff of a bfp:(:( I feel very unhopeful with my very bad pcos and a huge amount of time ntnp.
Xx
Thanks xxx it's terrible that nobody mentions fertility to females with peritonitis. I find it shocking given how much is written online about it. I think I first realised it could be a problem from an article in company magazine.
I've also never had a sniff of a BFP but my hubby is a big one for the power of positive thinking so I tell myself each month that it WILL happen. Only problem with that is that it makes CD1 so hard
I know it feels bad for you right now but people can and do get pregnant with pcos and tube issues....the journey may just take a little longer. I'm sending you and all the other lovely ladies on this thread lots of good positive thoughts for our BFPs xxx
Pickle yay for swimming dog! I went to see my friend and her dog today. The poppet was so pleased to see me (probs cos I smell like cats :rotfl:)
Purcy yay for longer LP and finding positives! Boo to the 2ww!
Claire - love it! I'm over excited if I get to 13 dpo...!
Angeltreats - big hugs....you need to let it all out as I'm sure it will make you feel better. Fingers crossed that the second sample looks better xxx
Afm - I'm working away from home for a month...so annoying as I literally unpacked from holiday, hugged my cats and then had to leave to travel to my hotel...not going to make operation bd very easy this month! Already told hubby I'll be coming home for the night when I get a peak on CBFM so he better be ready! Not sure how I'll explain that to my colleagues who are also working away with me lol! They'll think I'm mad!0 -
Fingers crossed for you lannie xxxx
I know it's the worst isn't it. I think I'll test tomorrow, officially I should wait untl Tuesday for my ff testing day but I'm not that patient!
I've only ever made it this far without spotting twice before (neither of those were on the 2 cycles I tested positive I hasten to add). So I'm impressed at my lp this month but I am being careful to remember my ac and vit b complex so feeling like its starting to work again. I could kick myself for stopping taking them.
I've got my fingers crossed for my fellow 2 week waiters this month I'm sure we're due a few more bfp's soon!0 -

I agree the first I heard about it was when on clomid 3 years agostupid really considering the risks.
I'm trying to remain some bit of positivity but only ov once and ntnp for 13 years makes me very worriedoff to fs tommorow.
I hope you get your peak and can sneak back to your dh.
Angel let it all out, do whatever you Need to do make you feel better, these awful bumps along the road of ttc really take it out of us.
Hugs to all that need them.

lol, you're all being very complimentary about my willpower, but I did test on Friday and it was negative...
I think I ovulated later than I'm listed (pure guesswork - I'm not using OPKs). With hindsight, I reckon I'm probably 14dpo today (could I be changed on the list?).
The last couple of months AF has arrived later than normal (which is why I was waiting until today...). I'm hopeful, but the BFN on Friday dampened my optimism a bit. I might give in and test tomorrow, otherwise def Tues.Mortgage when started: £330,995

Angel treats, make sure your OH is drinking at least 2 litres of water a day in the run up to his next SA - you need water to make the fluids he needs to produce
and it's been very dry weather lately, plus noone ever drinks as much water as they should...
