Phew...just caught up on the past weeks worth of posts! We sure do post a lot between us :)

Big congrats to Squirrel & Thrifty for the BFPs that I missed! :T

PartMouse - So sorry to hear your news. I hope you are doing ok. I'm really worried that I might have a similar issue. I also had peritonitis (big fat exploding appendix) and had big open surgery. The first surgery was not cleaned up properly so I ended up back in the hospital 2 weeks later with septacemia. I also nearly died and had to have a second open surgery to try to clean up the mess. :( I've been convinced that it must have affected my tubes and my doctor seems to agree as he has agreed to start fertility testing even though we have not been TTC for a whole year yet. Currently waiting on OHs SA which is tricky to arrange around his work.

Big hugs for anybody feeling down at the moment. This TTC is Sooooooo hard. I'm currently on CD7 - please can you update me MrsTM this month CD1 was very hard. :(

Right - best get on with unpacking/tidying etc xxx

Oh no I'm really sorry to hear you had a very similar experience, have you had an hsg yet? I to thought I must have internal damage and unfortunatly I was right. I really hope though that you don't have a blocked tube, do you have pcos?

    Xx

Sijou was hoping you might have had a bfp! How annoying. And cat lover bex. (Auto correct just changed it to cat liver lol!)

The lead up to cd1 is the worst.

Still no AF yet. Going to test again tomorrow or Tues morning. I would do it tomorrow, but I'm on holiday and just have the one test stick with me... so don't want to test too early!

    Fingers crossed for you lannie.

Me too Claire, thought we might get lucky this month. :(
I know it's small compared to some issues some of you ladies are having/going through at the moment, so trying not to grumble too much. Really thought I'd be pregnant before I got to cycle 10 though.

Partmouse - It sucks doesn't it. I feel bad for moaning because I know that we are lucky to get free healthcare in this country but it is frustrating to think its potentially caused problems for me and definitely caused problems for you xxx

I've not had an hsg yet... Doctor agreed I should have one sooner rather than later, just waiting for hubby SA. I just feel like there must be damage because I was 11 at the time and after the second op I had bleeding to the extent that my mum thought I'd coincidentally started my periods. I hadn't so it worries me that it caused bleeding. I talked to my mum about it recently and she said none of the doctors mentioned any fertility stuff at the time but that I was so poorly that the fact that I was alive was all they were thinking about. I only found out through dr google that peritonitis could affect fertility and I feel so annoyed that nobody told me or my parents at the time. I would have started TTC much earlier if I'd been aware there could be problems from the op. How old were you and did anyone mention fertility stuff to you? xx

I'm quite lucky as my cycles seem relatively ok and I'm getting positive OPKs so hopefully I am ovulating and I don't have pcos. Had some initial blood tests done which showed my hormones seem ok too.

Sjlou - hugs for the bfn xx I was keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Lannieduck - good luck tomorrow! Well done for excellent willpower!:)

Picklekin - hope you had a great holiday and fingers crossed in 9 months time you will have a new forest baby....I've heard Tree & Leaf are popular names right now ;)
