*hugs* TM, am sure there is a job out there. What work you looking for? even if it means getting something to get you going. Think it would help the why you feel about things.
    Work keeps mind off TTC.
OH back to work full time again after his op. 1st evening to myself for 3 months

    Congratulations Kynthia!

    T2D yay for CD1!!

Code - that game analogy is brilliant, really captures it, and the whole jealousy part of it which people often find hard to understand. You should blog that.

AFM, trying to get OH to DTD. I am too tired at night, DD is in the way in the mornings. we probably have missed window now but going to put her in front of TV tomorrow am and, erm, slip one in :rotfl:

It's only month one of this leg of the attempt and I am already fed up with it all. It has been a long two years.

So, I'm not quite sure when I'll be ovulating, although it should be around about now going by the EWCM.

We managed to DTD on Mon and Weds and I was hoping to manage this evening/Sat/Sun to make for a really good attempt this month... except OH has only gone and put his back out!! :(

I can totally sympathise with this, although I'm the one who's too tired in the mornings, and OH crashes out at night. The only time we can find is during DD's midday nap!

DD dropped her naps 2 1/2 years ago!

We only managed it on Monday and then not, but if the sperm live long enough we will be OK. I have had EWCM since Sunday night so not really sure when the egg might have been/be around.

DH is doing my head in tonight. I hope the opk I just did is negative because 1. I don't want to have sex with him
    2. He had a tommy earlier even though he knows I'm near ov (maybe). I wouldn't mind but I was in the house at the time and I can never get him to BD.
    3. The reason he did that is because the friend he's confided in told him he shouldn't go more than 3 days. I told him that several times and he rubbished it but because it came from one of his work colleagues it's obviously fact and should be followed to the letter.
    4. I hate that he happily talks to said friend about ttc when he will not talk to me about it at all. I tried to talk to him when I was upset that I didn't ov and he lost his temper with me.

I just want to climb into bed and ignore him. I don't think I want his babies because he's clearly some kind of a moron.

Angeltreats. I take inositol all cycle. If you don't mind me asking did your friend just have IVF/ICSI or did she pay for any of the extras that they offer? We're on the list for ICSI and it kills me whenever I see that it's failed for people.

No she didn't have any extras. The first time it was a full cycle including egg collection etc. This time it was just a natural cycle using one of the frozen embryos, with no drugs. What sort of extras do they offer?

T2D Hurrah for CD1. Probably the first and last time I'll ever say that.

Code your OH needs a good slap for that I think. Which reminds me that my own hubby is off for a SA on Tuesday, he needs to be reminded to abstain tomorrow and Monday.

Loved the game analogy! But Code... I'm sorry your OH is such a pratt.. I would be hopping.

Happy for your CD1 T2D, nice to say that for a change.

Appointment went well really, HSG results were good, and bloods showed I ovulated both before and after starting the Clomid. He smiled and said "well, everything is good" and I said "no its not, I'm still here!" he told me to relax and not stress about things, and told me to stop using OPKs and temping.. I think I'm more stressed not knowing whats going on with my body..

Code- big hugs for annoying menfolk. Mine is the same, won't believe anything I tell him unless he can verify it on the nhs website. I told him coffee affects sperm quality (he used to drink probably 15 cups a day) but he refused to believe me "as surely the caffeine should help them to swim faster" However I recently found out from a work colleague of his that he no longer drinks coffee at work so he obviously verified the coffee thing with Dr google. Grrrr - men!

Picklekin - so glad that your appointment went well! X

Goodvibes - hope you enjoyed your first evening to yourself in a while. I love a bit of alone time every now and then!

Skintchick & Lannieduck - it must be a nightmare trying to fit in BDing with a little one around! Hope you manage to fit it in on the right days!

Sophiasmum - I've recently joined one of the cheap no contract gyms and have been loving it. Only thing is, I've convinced myself that it might be a bad idea to go during the 2ww as it might affect implantation :o not sure if that is true or not but I don't want to risk it. I do mainly cardio (cross trainer, steppers) interspersed with some high rep, low weight training on the leg press, leg curl and leg extension. My aim is to lose some weight and to tone up my problem area of thighs, bum & tum! I'd defo say go for it if you can as it really makes me feel so much better.

MrsTM - thanks for doing the lists. Sorry to hear you are feeling down. What area do you work in? If you are not sure what to do, have you thought of doing some volunteer work in that area for a while (if possible)? I've found that doing this can sometimes open up the door for the jobs that you are technically 'under qualified' for. I know it must be frustrating being stuck in an over/under qualified position though. Hope something comes up for you xxx

T2D - yay for CD1 and for feeling optimistic! :j

TACOD - I'm a control freak too! TTC is one if the few things in my life I can't control and it just drives me crazy! I find the 'not knowing' the worst thing for me at the moment.

Hope everyone has a good weekend xxx
