Loved the game analogy! But Code... I'm sorry your OH is such a pratt.. I would be hopping.

Happy for your CD1 T2D, nice to say that for a change.

Appointment went well really, HSG results were good, and bloods showed I ovulated both before and after starting the Clomid. He smiled and said "well, everything is good" and I said "no its not, I'm still here!" he told me to relax and not stress about things, and told me to stop using OPKs and temping.. I think I'm more stressed not knowing whats going on with my body..

I'm stressed just at the thought of someone telling me that! I'd never get pg if I didn't use tests etc.

Code sorry your DH is being an idiot x

Code - Sorry about your OH. My OH can be the same and its usually when OV is due its so frustrating!

T2D - Great news cd1 is here for you :)

Angeltreats - Goodluck with getting your OH to abstain for a couple of days and for the SA results on Tuesday.

Picklekin - Glad the appointment went well. I hate when they say 'just relax'! Easier said then done!

AFM - Had an interesting chat this morning. Basically conversation came round to kids and when I would have them ( no one really knows we are trying) and it was announced I would be fine as all the family are Super fertile and they only have to begin undressing and wham bam a baby is conceived. Hmmm felt like ramming that phone down there throat!

To be fair they have all really ever had one hit wonders or there about. Makes me wonder if I am broken after all :(

Code - your long post a few pages back was so true. It seems that some of the recent pregnancies I know have been after years of trying - I just feel annoyed that a lot of education goes into contraception and I don't feel that I have ever been informed about how long it does take to get pregnant and cycles to go back to normal after the pill.
Why can men be so difficult, I really don't know what goes on in their mind some days. Hope he makes it up to you.

    T2D - hooray for CD1!

Picklin - glad appointment went well. Lol at your comment about still being there though - very true.

AFM - this is a rubbish month where I will be unlikely to DTD at any relevant time (make that ANY time!). OH is away. May still try and find out if I am ovulating at any point, as now the summer hols are approaching I may go back to the doctor and ask about tests - it has only been 6 months but I am paranoid I am not ovulating, and as my cycles are all over the place want to find out why. Though my surgery is annoying as you ring on the day and they allocate you anyone - may need to try and assert some authority on that call to avoid one of the doctors who is never that sympathetic/helpful.

*hugs* TM, am sure there is a job out there. What work you looking for? even if it means getting something to get you going. Think it would help the why you feel about things.
    Work keeps mind off TTC.
MrsTM - thanks for doing the lists. Sorry to hear you are feeling down. What area do you work in? If you are not sure what to do, have you thought of doing some volunteer work in that area for a while (if possible)? I've found that doing this can sometimes open up the door for the jobs that you are technically 'under qualified' for. I know it must be frustrating being stuck in an over/under qualified position though. Hope something comes up for you xxx

I don't really *want* to work, but DH keeps mentioning money, which is doing my head in. He makes enough for me to not work, but he's never had to save for anything before and he hates not having his spending money.

As far as qualifications go, I have a bachelors in both biology and in chemistry, have experience working with IT, banking experience, teaching/tutoring experience, retail experience (both on a till and stocking), shift manager experience, pet/house sitting experience, and cleaning experience.

I refuse to enter into a management position. Been there, done that, hated every minute. I am shying away from the teaching due to not wanting to be around kids without having my own yet, and the cleaning stuff doesn't pay anything.

I would absolutely love to get a job in a lab at a fertility clinic. I'd be able to use what I know, learn new things, and help people who are struggling to conceive. I would also love to go into 'business' for myself, making and selling crafts and pet sitting. Thing is, hardly anyone is willing to pay enough to cover even expenses, much less to make a profit. I know that there are niche markets out there, I just haven't found one that I enjoy providing stuff for yet.

I'm extremely shy in person, and I'm clinically depressed and in therapy. I'm also trying to lose half of my body weight (need to lose 64 kg before I can even think of being classed as 'normal') and I'm very sensitive about comments from people about how I look. The anti depressants have helped tremendously, and I'm really looking forward to therapy (first session is on stress management and is next Tuesday!) and I'm hoping to get into the bereavement therapy soon so that I can finally grieve for my dad.

What it boils down to is: DH wants more money so that we can start saving for a house and be more comfortable. I'm worried that if I start working, I won't be able to attend my therapy sessions nor handle the stress. I've finally started to take care of myself and I don't want to lose that. I don't know what to do though. :(

Lists are coming up if anyone needs me to update anything!

Well, ff has put cross hairs in and thinks I'm 3dpo. Still not had a cm dry up so I don't know if that's right but it would be within the time specified by my positive opk so maybe. I don't know. This has been a rubbish cycle and I'm fed up with it.

Oh and for ages DH has said that adoption isn't an option. After one conversation with a different work colleague (who he also told about ttc - should I just have a massive infertile - pity me sign put over my head?), he's changed his mind and might consider it. Clearly, if I want anything done I need to Facebook these women and get them to tell him.

Mrs T_M , maybe you need an online Facebook shop selling your crafts like tinks has or something part time just to get your DH off your back. As much as I hate my job and blame it in part for my failure to get pregnant, there are some days when just the simple act of getting there, speaking to my colleagues about trash tv and so on, and focussing on my coding have really prevented a meltdown because it means I can't think about the thing that's bothering me.

Since Ive been using ovulation sticks, this is the first time my period is late, today is 4 days late and I took a test on two days ago which was negative. A few days ago I was having some stomach twinges, and everyday I have been feeling bloated. Think I will wait for a few more days before I test again.

    Good morning.
Pickle - great test results. What's the next step?
Am on the iPhone and posting is a nightmare. Well following the strongest + OPK had on the OPK at 530 last night I'm guessing I'm due to OV today. Does that sound right?

We tried to BD last night but DP was too tired. So we've just had a fun one this morning :)

Will have another tomorrow morning then the 2ww....

Have a great weekend. So pleased for the CD1 tea! Xxx
