Birdie - WOOT WOOT! That's fantastic news. Really thrilled for you
lilmissmup - HUGE congrats. What a crappy doctor. Can you ring and ask about private scans. If you have the spare cash? I paid for one before (about 90 quid where I am) but was so sorth it to put my mind at ease that everything was where it was meant to be. I do hope the period bleeding is nothing to worry about.
Code - Just big fat juicy hugs for you
Kellykins - Glad you have a lovely break. Onwards to your BFP…..
Beautybutterfly - Glad that your cycle is all back to normal again after messing you around so much on the last one
ilovelondontown - welcome  You'll soon see that so many of us don't appear to have a 'standard cycle'. Nowt's ever simple…...
Claire16c - Glad the appointment was kind of good news….. I think
14dpo today and neg hpt this morning.... good news after the weird mid cycle bleed. Not sure where AF has got to though. Have a gp appt on Friday to talk over the weird bledding. Only 3 months into TTC this time around so not sure they can help in any way, but it would be good to talk it over anyway.......TTC #3..........0 -
Part Mouse - sorry to hear about the reluctant follies, the lining thickening is a good sign though, right? hopefully they'll catch up
Claire - glad your blood tests are fine, although irregular periods are very fustrating! In fact i've just logged into my FF to check and counting from last day of mc bleeding and including the cycle we conceived, I had 12 cycles in 20 months, no wonder it took so long! lol
So in some ways then it took you the 'standard' 12 cycles its just that your cycles stretched out that bit more! In a way that's good to know as if you try for a 2nd baby one day, it might not take as long!
Maybe that's why my friends dr told her to count cycles & not months before worrying.
Part mouse I hope the follies start to get a move on for you!x0 -
Twig pig hope you get a bfp or if AF is coming she hurries up & doesn't drag it out any longer as that's the worst when you just want to start a new cycle!0

Hello Ladies, was away this weekend so just got caught up !
Thanks BZ for the diagram, that's really useful for understanding what the procedure is. I've decided that if it doesnt work this month i'm going to see an acupuncturist (felt funny writing that word down, is that what they're really called or have i just made that up??).
9DPO for me and nothing much happening, had some crampy feelings today but probably just all the rich food i ate this weekend playing havoc with my innards! OH has hidden the ic's otherwise i'd had cracked by now and tested,
Hope you're all well,
Pomme0 -

Hubby has his scan on his kidneys at 2 today to find out why he has a uti after 4 bouts of antibiotics
Im v depressed all my dresses no longer fit, its official im no longer skinny0 -
Atton - I had a male friend offer his Urmm "services" too - whilst I appreciate people want to help, its not exactly the usual thing to offer people is it?
Still no AF for me, but I have been very hungery last 2 days and eaten way more then a usual day, which is a sign of AFs arrival usually, so I'm awaiting her visit, if she doesn't arrive today I'm the latest I've ever been (apart from when I came off the pill.)0 -
Hi everybody.
COngrats to everyone with good news and hugs to those who dont yet have the news they would like to hear :grouphug:
I'm still waiting on AF, the cycle has been 30 days so far and I cant tell if she's on her way due to back pain from an injury or the stomach aches and flutters which can be due to the fact I often suffer from constipation and the like.
I did get some news which knocked me sideways yesterday, had a meds review with doctor as I take a lot for different things. Going down the list he mentioned thyroxine which I've never had, turns out I was prescribed it back in April but the doctor checking the tests never wrote to me to tell me I had to have it due to an abnormally low thyroid test. I never even knew I had a thyroxine test done when they took the bloods. It explains so much, the weight gain, the constipation, the forgetfulness and brain fog, the tiredness, the aches and pains which was all put down to stress and anxiety which can also be made worse by low thyroxine.
And of course irregular periods and infertility, I dont know whether to laugh or cry, apparently I have all the classic symptoms and I've lived with this for at least a year. I've now started on the thyroxine and, touch wood, I will have lost some of this weight and given myself a bit more of a fighting chance when I see the specialist in July. Sorry its so long, but I had to tell someone!0 -
Claire thanks I sure hope they do to.
Twigpig really hope your BFP is hiding or AF comes soon so you can start the next cycle.
Atton You do sound quite down, is there anyone you could have a good chat with? even to off load a bit. Starting treatment can be scary but if you don't try you will never know. I hope your DH scan can shed some light.
Lou, are you due to test soon?
SS eekk sorry to hear about your dr troubles, socking that they cdould let something so important slip like that.I hope the meds help now.

SlinkySel, what a nightmare - really pleased for you that it has been picked up now though and hope the meds are working soon
Atton please don't give up hope, there's loads more options for you yet and loads of people who have had as many or more issues than you and have gone on to have their perfect little babies they were meant to have. Big hugs x
Afm, pre-AF bloating has arrived. I wish AF would just hurry up and get here already as I can't wait to start using my new CBFM from CD1 and giving us a fighting chance next month.0
