Littleme glad you had a fab time at the beach - which one did you go to?
I'm really surprised your GP prescribed clomid. Really hope it works for you.
Hi Becca - I'm new to all of this, is it that uncommon that a GP prescribes clomid? I guess all the NHS trusts vary from place to place. She had gone through all of our test results with the consultant go guess she took advice from him?
Welcome to ILLT - hope your stay is short
So another lovely day, expect this is our one week of summer.....
How are you today PartMouse?

Wow I was away for a few days and there are so many posts as well as the BFPs. Congrats to Birdie and Lilmissmup :j
I'm going to predict 10 BFPs for June!!!
I'm on the next cycle and using CBFM for the trial so feeling positive. Also on PMA counting my blessings. My little toddler has scribbled crayons all over my wallpaper and altho I've told her No, which goes in one ear and out of the other, I'm not going to shout at her or anything cos she's only 1 and there are worse things in the world to be worried about. DH is not impressed at our new multicoloured walls0 -
Decided that if oh still has a uti after these pillsi am taking itthat I am never going to be a mum and will b even canelling fertility help before it starts

Thanks
Just catching up but thought I'd reply to this one individually. Atton - I know how tough it's been for you and your OH, but not taking the steps towards fertility treatment may mean your still here in years to come continuing to get no where. There are many women who have been through this thread and went onwards to happy and healthy pregnancies after getting some help, but only YOU can take those steps. You need to be brave enough to get to the end of your journey without finding reasons and excuses not to do what needs to be done. You should never have found yourself here after the many, many years that you've been trying and only you can break the cycle and have the children that you deserve to have in your life...... You can make your gp get the help you need but it's all totally in your hands to how far you're willing to push it.......TTC #3..........0 -
Littlem im getting there thanks. Just had my tracking scan, got to go back Fri as my womb lining has thicked up my not much in the way of follies
got everything crossed the same doesn't happen as last cycle with no ov and then having to take duphaston to bring on AF.
Does anyone know of things that can encourgae ov?

So relieved just been to the drs and turns out the result that was not 'normal' on my blood tests was high folate! Just due to me taking folic acid! She said if you weren't taking tablets then it would be needed to be looked at but you are so no problems at all! She said I can just take the tablets every other day now.
I said So I don't have pcos then? And she said its very unlikely. I could see the fsh and LH levels on the screen & they were both in normal range so as the only symptom I have is irregular periods seems pretty unlikely now.
She said it could be down to my weight but if I'm naturally thin then it's not really an issue & this could just be what's normal for me & she asked how often my periods were & I said I get around 9-10 a year just at random intervals and she said perhaps that's just normal for you.
So she said yes just go & away and keep trying really & good luck!0 -
Part Mouse - sorry to hear about the reluctant follies, the lining thickening is a good sign though, right? hopefully they'll catch up
Claire - glad your blood tests are fine, although irregular periods are very fustrating! In fact i've just logged into my FF to check and counting from last day of mc bleeding and including the cycle we conceived, I had 12 cycles in 20 months, no wonder it took so long! lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
