We took a walk down to the river today and our dog jumped in and had a swim.

It does work. It's also really nice to be greeted by a happy faced dog wagging his bum. Are you going to get a dog walker? I love ours. He posts little videos of the dogs having fun so you can see what they get up to when you're not looking.

I don't think so. I can go home for lunch and so can DH, my mum won't be working so she will probably pop in a few days a week with her dog and I can be home for 4. But I might look into it, depends how we get on when we bring him home! Nervous!

It's very exciting. You're getting a furbaby!!

Having a dog is a lot of work, but it's also brilliant. At the moment, Scamp is asleep on the couch we initially said he wasn't allowed on. But he's just so damn cute.
