Just did another preg test, still a BFN - woke up feeling nauseas so was little bit hopeful but no.

AFs now the latest EVER, I'm at CD42 today (dont know when I ovulated.) And no sign of the witches arrival. I've had no spotting since last Friday, but I do have back ache.

Fed up now, want my positive or at least AF to arrive so I can try again :(

BECCA - your puppy is so cute, I wish I could have another dog :)

Was all set to head out the door to work then just randomly burst into tears. So I'm having to wait for the next train and my face to calm down from the huge blotchy mess it is now. Don't even know why I cried or am still crying except that work is such a horrible place to be atm and loads of people have gone off sick with stress. I should be getting moved to a different location at the end of the year and the maternity benefits are great which is why I've been hanging on.

becca - LOVE the pup. We have a fluffy border collie who is old now (nearly 10), but he really is a member of our family. We also agree a crate is brilliant in the early stages, and he now sleeps happily in his bed in the kitchen. We also both work full time but our dog is so happy and healthy we are just glad to give him a good life (he was a rescue dog DH adopted when he was one).

Code - really sorry to hear that; stress at work is one of the most debilitating things imaginable when you have to force yourself out of the door every day. I know the benefits are good, but the stress of it will not be helping your TTC, are you sure there is not another option? I changed jobs last year and the new place is just SOOOOO much nicer, that I feel like I really have a new lease of life and am enjoying my days again, rather than wishing them away.

Am predicting AF today or tomorrow for me from the cramping going on here...

I got a bit of a hard time from some people on the pets part of the forum about how unfair it was to get a dog when we both work but our dog is happy, gets at least 3 hours of exercise everyday and loads of cuddles. He's much better off with us than still in the rescue centre.

As much as I'd love to be able to get another job, what I do is pretty specialised so there aren't many places who use the programming language that I'm experienced in. I could contract and make the money I make in a month in a week but we rely on the money I bring in and it's too unstable. I also don't want to spend weeks away from DH and my furbaby. The place I work used to be really good and chilled but loads of people left and didn't get replaced to save money and then we ended up with people coming in temporarily so nobody knows who anyone is or what they do and then they're off after a couple of months leaving a massive mess behind them because nobody bothered to explain what they were meant to be doing. In the meantime senior management are putting so much pressure on the rest of us that people in key positions are going off sick. It's got to the point where I'm either working like a demon because I've been given 200 jobs to code in one day and the deadline is yesterday and half the specs are missing or I'm sitting twiddling my thumbs because the people further up the chain are not passing down the stuff I need to do my job . Also working with said contractors who are doing the same work as me but being paid much more which is quite annoying. Everyone is in a bad mood, everyone is stressed, people are developing serious long term illnesses caused by stress, nobody wants to be there and senior management are "surprised at the lack of morale" when we're working harder, earning less in real terms because we've not had a payrise in 3 years and having our Christmas parties cancelled because they decided we didn't have enough time.

Phew. That turned into a rant didn't it? Feel a bit better now.

Just a quick read and run......

MrsTTC - Welcome.... :) opk's will unfortunately only give you an indication that ovulation will happen. Temping (taking your temperatures) will confirm that you actually did ovulate. Let us know if you need more info on this. Hope you got lucky though ;) I think you certainly have a chance. The problem is that you can do everything perfect and still not get pregnant, so there's no way of knowing...... :)

    goldenpink - welcome!

becca - wow, that puppy is so so cute!

kalama - hope you enjoyed your visit - how many groceries did you take back with you? :rotfl: Hope that your cold gets better soon.

Hoping to go swimming after work, so that might bring out AF :rotfl: It's really hard to know where I am in my cycle after my bleeding. I'm concentrating more on weight loss for now to take my mind off it. :D

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
